At this point Renji wasn't total shit, and Ichigo wasn't such a bitch about everything. If Bleach continued in this direction, it probably would have been the best anime ever.

Aizen was just stupidly powerful, and in the end they need to place some hax on Ichigo to make Aizen's defeat somewhat plausible.
