Unlike everyone else, I know what is wrong, but I can't fix it. I have a laptop, and therefore no NumPad. I need the NumPad versions of + and - to use TexMod. Nothing I have tried is working. Pressing Fn and ";" or "/" isn't working. Fn and + or - isn't working. OnScreen keyboard isn't working. Please help?

@TheWeegeeRage i had the exact same problem but, i found a way! use the on-screen keyboard. if there is no numpad, go to options and change that.

@dolffijn6 Of course, texmod is for most games that do textures like this. Although it'll be a pain since like.. charr will probably have extremely detailed fur that will make retexturing hard.

For those of you who hit + and - but nothing happens ...I thought the same thing, but if you are using a standard keyboard, it seems to only work with the - and + on the number pad, doesn't work with the ones above the letters in the main part of the keyboard.

Maybe you should take that blindfold off so you can see what you're doing.

@MyNameIsFuz Save the file as a DDS image file, whch can be done under the logging mode and instead of BMP for output format, choose DDS. Then open up the files with Photoshop, because DDS doesn't work with MS paint or anything like that. It should remove the shine.

I had the same issue, it ended up that the +/- on the number bank above the keys didn't work but the +/- on my number pad did.

If you have mcafee you disable everything. (well that's what I did.)

Well, you only need to disable it for the time you click the run button - if you let it reapply Mcaffee's protection after 15 minutes automatically your Texmod still works and you're once again protected.

Well, assuming you have the SecurityCenter..

Right click the McAfee icon in the toolbar and go to Change Settings, go to Computer & Files (under the Configure tab), turn VIRUS PROTECTION off, it will prompt you to turn the protection back on after an amount of time, or never. Choose the lowest setting (15 minutes for me) and click okay. Then run your texmod, and it'll all work. It doesn't matter if the protection turns back on, Texmod'll still run, so you'll be protected and running Texmod! :)
