I put the movie texture on a Background object. projection>Frontal

I use a plane for the floor, not a floor object.

On the plane I use the same movie texture set to frontal, with a compositing tag.

On the composite tag, check the "Composite Background" box.

Check out greyscale gorilla's C4D tuts, he has tons of great info & tricks

@scarylegodudes just go ae & duplicate.....make itblack(tint or any other effect)....than make it 3d & make it in the right place.& lower the opacity & here we go u got a shadow

@saradeva11 - Yeah, its mostly trial and error. Sometimes they stick , other times they drift. Be sure you export the pfhoe racking data as a lightwave file, not a c4d file when exporting to C4D. It helps prevent the really bad camera twitches that you'll get sometimes in C4D.

How do you catch the shadows on the ground?

The footage is tracked with PFHoe.

the camera data is exported into C4D. Then you just place the object and light it!
