I love this sounds like we are back in the old days when good singing like this was how it was. Today's singers need to take note of this. Vern Gosdin had it right.
This song really touches me. One day I was on the way to TCTC, I had to pull over. I could not stop the tears from falling. Jesus is holding my hand even though I don't deserve it.
Vern has been my favorite singer for many, many years. There will never be another voice like his. He never got the attention he deserved. I miss him so much. Can't hear him enough. So much emotion and soul. He needs to be in the Hall of Fame. When will Country music wake up and realize what they had and what they lost!
@kentuckybettysue I don't know how someone gets into that Hall of Fame but I hope to see Vern in there before I die. Maybe someone could let us know how that happens. Also does anyone know if Vern had any children and whether any of them sing like Vern did? Those would be tough shoes to fill but not impossible for a child of his.
