so i'm going to buy a skateboard at ebay, but i just realized that it doesn't come with grip tape. Do i really need grip tape to ride a skateboard? What does a skatboard look like without grip tape? Also will it be dangerous to ride without one? I just want to ride for fun around my neiborhood. Will i look weird without grip tape? PLEASE ANSWER!!

you should get grip tape cause it doesn't look that good without one and it helps with the grip and you will want griptape for tricks it only costs about $6 and to apply all u would need is a griptape file and a sharp razor blade

well..you COULD not buy a griptape, but you can risk to fall more often then normal + it will look wierd

The griptape are made to keep you stuck so much on the board to not fall of but still be able to remove you'r feets for a short time. So me and probablly MOST of the skaters worldwide would say "YES! GET A GRIPTAPE"

unless you wanna be damaged and hav a wierd skateboard :-)

Yeah man, you'll need to get this sticky stuff off (aka glue) - try using turps to wash it down but don't rub your eyes after touching turps - wash your hands.

i need help-you know how the backs of decks where you put griptape on have logos? well, if i placed griptape over the logo, realized that i wanted the logo, and removed the grip, would the logo be okay or fucked up? i need to know if the logo would be alright or not before i remove the griptape, cause if the logo became ruined then it would be a wasted effort.
