10's don't hit the lows for me. I'd love to have a vintage Vibroverb tho.
I've gotten rid of the Vox half stack, but I did get the new VT100 Combo by VOX. It seems to dial-in just about every tone I could think of. I NEED TO PUT UP SOME MORE VIDS!
They are the Fender Noiseless. There is noise in the video, but is from the fish tank that the camera is setting on. No noise, but what I like about them, is that when you crack it up, you can still get feedback to play with.
Thanks for watching, its about time I make some new up to date videos!
I like how you have a maroon pickguard with white knobs ;) i plan on making my strat with a black pickguard(body is also black) with gold knobs with a purple guitar strap HA!anyways i love your type of playing 5 stars!!
It is honey blonde. The pikups are noiseless, I enjoy them. I mainly play clean, so they are awesome for that. Right now I have 12 gauge strings and switched to heavy picks for more tone. Sounds awesome high gain, clean, and can have a real country tone on the bridge pickup.
I put sperzel trem lock tuners, and carbon bridge saddles., added an extra spring as well.
Thanks for the comment. She was made in Mexico. However, the tuners, bridge, springs, player and saddles are all American. I think she sounds good. She will be my number one! I will post more vids soon, subscribe, more to come!
NICE FENDER! i love Fender for it's great blues tone! its amazing for blues!! I have an Epiphone les paul im gonna get da Slash signatrue les paul soon
Thanks a lot bud. I have an Epiphone les paul custom. It is older and has an awesome one of a kind paint job. Gotta love the strat though. Best of both worlds!
I love strat but my fav Fender is a semi-holo body Telecaster, but fender still is freakin awesome!!!! dude, ur rly good by the way, do u have a band? ur guitar looks a lil bit like an SRV or Lenny lol It freakin RAD this sound AMAZINNG! DUDE I WANT THIS NOW! LOL but, all-in-all my heart belongs to Les Paul, lol i call my ls paul, Lesta, this is a wicked solo. ur rly good, I now some o da stuff im sayin is random, but the point of this comment is to say, I &%&%#%^ LOVE UR STRAT!
thanks... i'm keeping everything stock for a while.. i'll be going to ny soon so i wont try to buy to much goodies right now... but i checked the fender super champ xd.. and thats a nice amp.. and it comes with a good set of effects.. i think i'm gonna buy it when i sell off my old guitar... i almost had a solid state halfstack... with 4 12" speakers..
but i guess im gonna go for tone and quality before size and wattage... my biggest concern is a amp loud enough to play with drums..
also since the string saver saddles have import and american models... what should i use? the strat is a mim... so do i use american or import.. cause for import it says "for must import strat STYLED guitars".. im just not sure... what did you chose?
so i gotta get sperzel trem lock tuners.. new saddles... change spring arrangement, then do the thing the guitar guy told me.. he told me that the tremolo needs to be deeper in the body to stay in tune more... i hope after all that i can just divebomb all i want and it stays perfectly in tune....
Well, some people who have strats add the fourth or fifth spring and keep the tremelo tight to the body. So for string hieght they raise the saddles accordingly. Fender recommends a 1/8" gap between the trem plate and the body, which is basically what I use. The sperzal tuners are going to be a pain to put in.
You must be very carefull and use a dremel with sanding barrel attachment to sand the inside of the tuner holes, untill a snug fit is acheived, but nothing looser. You will also have to use wood glue and toothpicks to fill the old holes, b/c you will have to drill new ones. If you want to divebomb buy a jackson or a floyd rose. But if you want to tear into it like SRV and jimi, this will help a lot! Good luck!
ok.. my dad is a pro with woodworking.. i know he is pretty agile, and can do very specific accurate work... so if i keep the three springs the floyd will hang off the body, and as you move the tremelo bar will move also? and how do you set the springs up? do you put 3 on the middle hook, or all parallel to each other? with more springs does the guitar stay in tune better... i acutally think i will use it lightly.. no crazy divebombing.. what should i do if use it a little?
well it all depends and is trial and error. Three or 5 springs to the middle will have more tension that 3 or 5 springs parallel. also there is a claw screw that adjusts tension. depending on string gauge and saddle height. I've heard more springs give it more tone. DONT TAKE MY WORD FOR IT, GET SOME SPRINGS AND STRINGS AND TRY IT YOURSELF. I'm sure you can pull it off. Good luck and thanks for watching.
heyy nice playin' and cool loopin man... btw... is ur guitar like too blonde in person??? cuz im buying a dluxe players strat but they dont have a blonde one at guitar center and im between honey blonde and sunburst... cuz im a huge fan of white with tortoise pickguards but i dk if this one is too blonde... thx :D
it is perfect and I dont know why but I hate the blue plyrs dlx and all the others this one caught my eye, I would have it ordered, honey blonde. Also, the saddles and tuning pegs sucked, so I replaced them and now I love this guitar.
thank you. It is a lot of fun. Especially if I plug the keyboard in and make some insane 80's pop beats, thenn solo over that! I will make a vid of that soon LOL!
you have a very beautiful guitar if were you id never let it go

@matthew65 try a fender deville 4 by 10 , quality, tone , wattage and a reasonable price for a 120 watt amp :)
