I love this game and do this in my family dog class. It is so much fun and really great for learning sit/stay, down/stay, stand/stay, and having to do it while your owner runs to find a chair. I have had some classes get really competitive though. Great BDAY party!
Yes, I think it's a fantastic, FUN, way to practise those essential commands and the competition is actually good, I think, as it spurs the owners to actually practise and make their dogs better! :-) In our version, the last human has 10s to distract the other dogs (but not their own!) out of their Stay with running/jumping/whooping/funny noises - anything except calling their names - coz if another dog gets up, they can grab their human's chair - so it REALLY tests the dogs' Stay command! :-)
That was HALARIOUS!!! What a fun game!! I want to throw a doggie bday just to play!!!!
