  • I wish that Chicago CTA ordered these instead of new flyers D60LFs

  • ABOUT FREAKIN TIME THAT NYCMTA IS GETTING NOVA LFs, They should've been ordering them years ago instead of too many damn Orion NGs or New Flyer 60 fts. But I do love Orions and Hopelly remaining Nova RTSes will stick around more longer.

  • When MTA order these they should send these Nova LFSA to Queens because Manhattan already has da Eco-Savor IV, and Brooklyn also has some Eco's. Queens has no new buses running around, expect those 07 NG's that boring 2 me

  • is diz a hybrid-electric

  • and m405 mont-richard/russiranno alyssa 0054

  • I like this powertrain,it sounds good.

I'm gald the MTA is ordering from NOVABus. ;)

  • MTA kept this bus,0054 will be kept by the MTA so they will reapinted and renumber them and it would be a unit along with the other 90 NOVABus LFS Artics on the order. ;)

  • also i meant the MTA is ordering over 100 NOVABus LFSA not 90.

  • either 90 or 100 units of LFS Artic coming in,we will wait and see.

  • for now the MTA is ordering 90 NOVABus LFSA Arti, but they will order over 100 of them.

  • cooooooooooooooooooollllllll

  • I don't konw the big deal about this bus. New York City Transit gets new buses every year so soon there's going to be a better bus than this one.

  • This bus is a demo bus. That is why it's a big deal.

  • Demo, meaning that we're not going to see them anymore. That's bad because they are nice looking buses.

  • In this case, it's a good thing as MTA is ordering 100 of them!

  • Which routes do you think are going to get them?

  • They may be used for the next 2 SBS routes, the M15 and B44

  • I think that the M15 might get them but I doubt the B44 because they're getting Next Generation Hybrids. Also a possibility could be the Bx1,2 or 19. It would be nice to see some artics in Queens or Brooklyn. Update me on when NYC will get an articulated hybrid.

  • Routes that should get them is the b44. It is overcrowded, along with the B35, B11. 3 overcrowded routes in Brooklyn.

  • I agree. It is unfair that Bronx and Manhattan have all of the artics practically. We have routes in the Bronx with artics that are far less crowded than those routes and even in the Bronx there are artic routes like the Bx39-69th in local bus ridership last year whereas the Bx36 which very rarely uses artics(mostly Orion VII CNG)ranked 12th in local bus ridership during 2008. Something has to be done with this conspiracy.

  • Artics are used on some routes in the Bronx, where they can be taken off, and used on busier routes that have low floor buses not meant for them. Bx36 should definitely have artics, B44, B35, B11. These buses can come from routes in the Bronx where they are used on routes less crowded, than these routes. Conspiracy needs to be ended. B35 uses Orion7s lowfloor, they are very crowded. Hardley get a seat.

  • Brooklyn especially has a problem because Flatbush Depot has most of the major routes out there and MTA never wants to give them artics. All NG's are going to do is lower farebeating out on B44 and B46. Those routes are very important and their ridership continues to grow. I should add in B41,B49 and a couple of others out there as well.

  • are busses on the m15 always that empty ?

  • I got on pretty much towards the end of the line. Canal/Allen to City Hill

  • Buses on the M15 are just empty, admit it.

  • 0054on the 405 Bourassa Express

  • 0054 on the 405 Mont- Richard-Royal-Bellevue

  • I don't get it! Are you talking about something in Quebec or this video of this bus that I recorded!

  • @MetroExpress840 Hum... Yeah, it's a bus route in MTL. I remember this bus number.

  • @weezywade lolno.

  • Lucky! I love LFSA's! I wish Pueblo Transit would get some. Sounds nice too.

  • I really like them too! Maybe Pueblo Transit may get the LFS's somewhere down the road!

  • 0054 o n the 405 Tains-Tainia

  • when are we going to have a bus like this

  • 0054 on the 405 Rusciranno Alyssa Queen

  • 0054 on the Route M15 Limited South 2 Av Manhatttan

  • There is some major change of plans regarding about 0054. That LFSA will now be tested out of Gun Hill for about 30 Days and it should be in Passenger Service next week on the BX12 SBS as according to a very reliable source and also from where I saw this LFSA on 2/10 in the Afternoon in the Pelham Bay Area and seeing it several minutes later in Gun Hill

  • lets not forget that this is a Canadian company that will be designed and building these buses for NYCT

  • 405 Tainns-Tania

  • This was going down Park Row where the bus has to go through a barrier that is open by the NYPD. It's been like that for about a few years now

  • Thanks!

  • Will it run on monday (MLK Day)

  • It should be

  • omg congrats on the catch! I'd go find it but im sick atm :(

Is there any schedule released for this specific bus? I tend to get the full bus as well.

And yeah, I think this was a City Hall Exclusive bus. My mom saw it and said that it was going to City Hall

  • Thanks! :)

I don't think there's a set schedule for them and I do think they may run on the main M15 line (South Ferry) whenever the M15 City Hall Branch does not operate.

  • Probably, I might go hunt it on monday if it runs. I sure hope it does :(

  • It should be running on the M15 on Monday as it just started testing like in the past day or 2

  • Really cool.

  • Thanks!

  • Its not a ZF tranny. More like Voith. ZF dont drag gears that long.

  • I will have to double check on it as I have read somewhere it is a ZF.

  • It just might be a voith because zf transmissions do not whistle like that.

  • Yes I have to agree with you on that. It sounds like a Voith 863.3 engine, which would make it the first time I've ever heard NYCTA use a bus with THAT type engine before. I mean Bee-Line Flxibles had Voith engines.

  • No, it's Voith D864.5 4-speed.

  • Thanks! I have been reading about that from another video. I will update the info whenever I have a chance.
