  • DCDOTCF you are a sissy ass liberal tree hugging global warming moron who should shut the hell up.

  • @Traintime57 Yes...yes.....CLEARLY I am the moron of this conversation. Hahaha, there is no change you are a loser who dropped out of school and made the choice of joining the military or committing suicide... hahahahaha.

  • how heavy is tht train??

  • All these M88's FAV's and Palladins came from repair shop/refurb at ANAD. If you don't know what and where that is here are two clues: On Southern mainline and used to be be on the now defunct Fort McClellan. If you still don't get it, as they say YOU DON'T HAVE THE NEED TO KNOW.

  • Think of all the money, resources and labour wasted building that shit. Think of all the solar panels, food, and productive jobs that could have been financed instead of shit designed to kill and fuck this planet up. Fuck I hate the cocksuckers behind all this fucking bullshit!

  • @DCDOTCF Yes there is a lot of money wasted but not on building/transporting tanks or other defense equipment. The money is wasted on foreign aid and social programs that fund the moocher class. This is why we need Ron Paul and many more like him, to restructure the way government does business in this country. Government is not supposed to be run as if it were a business anyway. Had we not won the manufacturing race during wwii you would be speaking German now so direct your anger correctly.

  • @c2cusa Hmmm, no central banks and speak German you say? Sounds good to me, I tell everyone that we fought on the wrong side of WWII....and apparently General Patton agrees with me in his memoirs. You know, memoirs....they are like books.....

  • @DCDOTCF are serious the nazi would have killed you all. hitler believe his race was superior to every white race

  • @gamenigeria Yea he did but he got it wrong, did'nt he.

  • Impressive

  • Man, I love living in America. Some countries can't produce that in five years, but here it's done in six or 12 months

  • Obamas convoy.

  • At the front, it's M88, recovery vehicle. It is use to tow another TANK! At the rear are Self-Propelled Howitzer 150mm, M109. A lot of tonage .............

  • 2 engines vs. mojo tanks. Tank fail.

  • ooo yeach!

  • Pretty amazing that only 2 engiens is needed to pull that.

  • NS??? MORE LIKE BNSF!!!

  • Wow, thats such a American train.

  • they are all m88's and 155mm self propelled howitzers and the ammo carriers for the 155's there are no m1a2 on that train

  • @camoman1907 You're right, the howitzers are M109A6 "Paladins", and the ammo carriers are M992 FAASV's (Field Artillery Ammunition Support Vehicle).

  • they are all m88's and 155mm self propelled howitzers and the ammo carriers for the 155's there are no m1a2 on that train

  • Anaconda steel. : )

  • Cool catch! I like how you caught the first one coming around the bend. The lighting for that one is great too. Enjoyed the video!!!

  • if people from before 1700 saw this they would say man has failed.

  • Does it matter what type of tank it is, you will be facing its barrel when the shit hits the fan!

I feel sorry for you Americans, but no doubdt there getting prepared in Europe also to submit the people to the NATO/UN rules.

Besides there are over 1800 concentration/FEMA camps over the world, more then 800 in the US alone,

But i;m still confused why, is it the crisis so will they make a man made disaster, or are the rumors of 2012, Nibiru, elenin correct? Anyone?

  • Tanks alot! Good video

  • Does this remind anyone of a game of snake?

  • while everyone else is arguing over what vehicles are on the train, I ask how is this an NS train, when it has BNSF locomotives!?!?

  • @trainguy3 since it was filmed in GA, it is quite apparently BNSF power operating the NS-O58 train. It's not uncommon any more for motive power to run on other operators lines, swapping horsepower-hours of service. We even get NS power all the way out here in Seattle from time to time.

  • good old america.

  • Great video capture. Love the initial setup. And of course, I love American Armor...

  • The snake of death

  • If only I had that much tanks, I'd... I'd do a thing or two to some persons...

  • Not fun to drive those on the rail cars either!

  • Azbigiron,

    '

    okay thank explain

  • The first angle is awesome. It looks like a millipede. Nice post! Also awesome to see our mobile military!!

  • I believe those were 155 artillery howitzer self propelled. Or 109s.

  • Very fine shot!

  • if only Saddam and Osama saw this video they would have been thinking "Holy shit I think we'd better not piss the US off", and we wouldn't get 911 and Iraq at all!

How underappreciated the show of power is.

  • they are going really fast!!!

  • Beautifull video .Great

  • Those are tank recovery vehicles, 175MM mobile artillery pieces and artillery support vehicles, but no main battle tanks.

  • Iraq HERE I COME

  • my taxes paid for those tanks

  • @345dogbreath345 Be proud of it!

  • Imagine this happening during WW2 as the american Army was shipped either way west or east to fight Japan and Nazi germany... must have been a hell of a sight!

  • @Nelsonwmj

Except the Big Boys and the Challengers would pull trains like these that were nearly a mile long by themselves... crazy amonts of power...

  • yeah for mail order :D

  • I don't see any M1 Abrams on that train I see Recovery vehicles with what looks like M-48 chassies probably. The other vhicles are M-109 155mm Self-propeled artillery.

  • the first bunch were M88 recovery vehicles or tank retrievers the second bunch with the barrels on them were M109 self propelled howitzers the third group were what thay call a FASV it's a battle field rearming vehicle for bradleys, howitzers and abrhams

  • He shall flee from the iron weapon,

And the bow of steel shall strike him through.

    Job 20:24

  • great shot

  • its like a big snake

  • great transport!

  • Uncle Sam has a pretty cool train set.

  • piedmont devision all the way

  • he is moving that sucker

  • много много много многоо много много много много много много много много много много много много много много ТАНКОВ

  • t1rs,

    type english in here

  • ...just about 70 vehicles total. w0w.

  • wow.. that is a shitload of tanks..

  • the last ones looked a bit like ciroen berlingos lol

  • Those aren't all artillery. Its a mix of recovery vehicles and mobile artillery. Probably coming back from deployment heading to repair and refit.

  • and refuel and rearm

  • What tanks? All I see is a shitload of mobile artillery.

  • i love trains!!

  • First group is M-88 recovery vehicles. Middle is M-109A6 Paladins(155mm SP howitzers) last group is M-992 FAASV's.(field artillery ammunition support vehicles)

  • WHOOO i love america

  • With all those tanks you could concur a African country in less than a day.

  • over 60 tanks lol^^

  • I like tanks!!

  • WHO LIKES TANKS ???

  • our taxes paid for those tanks

  • I didn`t see one tank on that train just M88s and self propelled howitzers.

  • The first group of vehicles are the M88 Hercules heavy recovery vehicle. Its crane can dead lift 140,000 lb.

So if they were to derail, they already have all the power they need right there. :D

The middle group are, of course, M1A2 Abrams main battle tanks. I'm not sure what the other group are, I think they're self propelled howitzers.

  • @shadynebey I think your right the last group looks like M109 paladin self propelled howitzers

  • @shadynebey i didn't see any abrams, i saw som self propelled howitzers, and there self propelled ammo carriers.

  • @49MCURLL49 I didn't see any iether, What I see are M88's tracked recovery, M106A6 self propeeled artillery, M992 ammocarriers for the 109's seem right?

  • @shadynebey Artillery

  • @shadynebey Bradley tanks, we loaded them @ Fort Hood here in Texas when i worked there.

  • @shadynebey None of those are M1's. The ones with canons are either Paladin or artillery

  • @shadynebey Quite right they are the palidins

  • @shadynebey the other groupe is the m109 paladin howitzer

  • @shadynebey

There is no single M1A2 on that train....

M109 Paladin howitzers + M992 FAASVs (Field Artillery Ammunition Supply Vehicle) are in the rear part...

  • @RoadblockHU Thanks I was going to point that out.

  • @shadynebey the last group is the FAASV, M992 field artillery ammunition support vehicle

  • @shadynebey no abrams there, m88 + paladins

  • That's cool, 5 Stars ★★★★★ and a Fave ♥

It would be cool if there was a BNSF WARbonnet locomotive pulling the train...it would be kind of symbolic for the tanks with a warbonnet :)

  • oh did anyone notice the single tank on the flat car at 49 seconds?

  • lol how much momentum does that train have?

  • wonder who they are going to shoot at!!!

  • Look at all those tanks , coming to a U.S town near you !

  • I can't even begin to imagine the weight of that train.

  • very cool.. thats a train you dont wanna crash... lol... and that would be a pretty good terrorist target

  • Lol a 100,000 dollar rocket for what...A half a billion dollars in tanks? Lol...would be a good investment.

  • hi, the movies is excellent, thanks ★★★★★

  • Afagistan or bust lmao

  • Awesome DODX train!

  • Comment removed

  • look at allllllllll those tanks!!!!!!!!!!

  • All of the DODX [Dept of Defense] cars that I have seen have 6 axles.

  • This may have train originated in Colorado Springs Colo, at Fort Carson. Mountain Artillery Training Station. We move these trains quite a bit out of Fort Carson. But we also move them to Fort Hood near Killeen TX too so it could be from there too, either way they are really neat trains to get called for on the railroad it as close as most civilians (myself) will ever get to such military equipment I remember tying down my train in Pueblo CO saying *DAMN* that is BIG.

  • lol I bet. Man, that here musta been a full division worth of tanks or artillery (or whatever the heck they were, couldn't see that really).

  • They are self-propelled artillery pieces. M109A6 Paladins, to be exact. 75 of them is at least a brigade worth of field artillery.

  • Amazing... that's like looking at NAS Oceana on googlemaps and coming to the conclusion there's more aircraft sitting on the platform there then my country's airforce has altogether! LOL

  • holy crap!!!

    THAT

    IS

    AWESOME

  • nice video

  • Awesome video!

  • I saw a train like this south of Chicago last Summer.

  • I didnt' see the others right away, the rest of them are M-109a6 artillery howitzers, and the ammo vehicles, the M-992a2.

  • They look like M-88's. Or maintainance vehicles, they are usually used as a crane, winch, towing, basically a all purpose vehicle.

  • what is the name of this tanks on the train

  • i don't know, but if you look at the previous comments, other users have said what particular equipment is on the train.

  • @bestamerica first set was an APC (armored personal carrier) second set was self propelled artillery 155 mm howitzer

  • the first ones were M88 recovery vehicles, in the middle was the M106 155mm self propelled howitzer, and in the rear was the The M992 Field Artillery Ammunition Support Vehicle

  • @bestamerica these are most like M1 Abrams Tanks

  • PaulPeirceFan,

    '

    okay thank,,,

i wish american can make many strongest MAUS tanks than M1A1 tanks

  • @bestamerica They are Howitzers and Abrams MBT's.

  • CookiesAndGuns95,

    '

    okay thank

  • @bestamerica They are Paladins and recovery vehicles. There are no tanks on that train.

  • Excellent video.Thanks for sharing.

  • Don't Play with the U.S.A.

  • Tell me about it they cheat. lol.

  • we just change the rules.

  • What fantastic video of a shipment of military equipment. The view of that train was awesome! Great jobCSXDixieLine! 9988 cancer

  • hes going very, maybe too fast into that curve!

  • Thats BNSF, not NS.

  • actually this is a NS train operating with run-through BNSF power. the train originated on the BNSF in the midwest and was handed over to NS in memphis, operating with NS crews and NS identification to its destination at an east coast port.

  • Hmmm, thats interesting. Never seen complete foreign power on a different line, just maybe one different engine.

  • Tanks for showing this. *ouch*

  • AWESOME!!!

  • imagine if a tank fell off behind your house

  • wtf

  • they will never hear us on a train thats real stealth lol great video nice to see an army train roll thru i saw one when katrina hit and they had the jungle army jeeps on the csx line

  • sooooooooooooooooooooooo awsome!

  • Nice! I bet the BNSF power is just run-through power w/ NS crews. AT&SF did that all the time w/ Conrail from Streator Il to Elkhart IN.

  • The exact consist is the front half of this train is M-88 tank recovery vehicles, SP artillery is next, then the ammunitions carriers for the SP units is last on the flatcars. Those flatcars are specially designed to carry tanks and other vehicles

  • thats a bad mother fucker

  • m1a1 abrams would have been made here in lima ohio.

  • those arn't m1 abrabs thouse are the new are howitzers!

  • those arn't m1 abrabs thouse are the new are howitzers!

  • How the hell can a 100 ton Freight Train pull the combined weight of at least 70 M1 Abrams tanks? Thats about 4600 tons of weight!

  • 4600 tons is nothing for railroads. some unit coal and grain trains can reach the 10,000 range

  • There's one from australia that weighs over 100,000

  • But you must take into consideration the Australian Ore trains are draw bar connected not knuckle coupled together they usually remain as one unit and are not frequently broken up, we could do that but the length would be to long to clear RXR crossings in a timely fashion.

  • BNSF unit Coal Average 17000-21000 tons between 120 and 150 cars with 2 locos pulling on the headend with 2 DPUs on the rear I know because I work for the BNSF in trainservice as A conductor in the Coal Fields.

  • he came thru Raleigh i heard it on my scanner

  • This train would be 058 (zero five eight), not O58 (oh five eight), despite the fact that they may have said the later on the radio. And dang, I saw some Howitzers and M1 Abrams.... holy cow.

  • you sure? thought the Oxx trains were "O"versize/high & wide. also thought the lowest ns train number was 100 (aside from the ones that start with a letter). they definitely said "oh", but could be zer"oh" :)

  • I'll name them all right here: 001-040 Amtrak, 041-042 Executive Inspection Trains, 043-044 Operation Lifesaver Trains, 045-046 Marketing Inspection Trains, 047-051 Circus Trains/Special Passenger Move, 052-055 Dimensional Loads, 056-059 US Military Movement, 060-063 Steam Excursion, 064-067 Diesel Excursion, 068-069 Excursion Train Deadhead, 070-080 Foreign Road Detours via NS, and 081-099 Special Unit Train Movements. An O is for additional sections of a 900. O58 would be a second of 958.

  • hey thanks for this info...i'll add it to my train sheets. don't know how i missed this when you roiginally posted it!

  • There is a website for this, I'll send it to you in a message...

  • NS 058 is a high and wide load or tractor combines, not a military train

  • this train was definitely running as 058, there are a few other videos i posted on the same day from this spot and you can here 058 calling signals coming up from atlanta.

  • interesting, cause i just caught this exact train in Pittsburgh 4 weeks ago with tractor combines

  • The 050 series symbols are used for ANY high and wide trains on the NS system. They are not region or cargo specific. I have seen them with combines, windmills, transformers, plate steel, plus other stuff.

  • Yeah, I've seen this symbol on military trains, combine trains, a train with a single steel load, and corresponding empties in northern IN.

  • I couldnt tell what the first few 10 cars where, Either Bradley's or LAV's.. Rest Howitzers and M1A1 Abrams.

  • I have 2 videos of NS trains with the BNSF engines, both hopper trains with helpers on the ends, and one video if the 'war bonnet' paint scheme.

  • That train was going to or from the Anniston Army Depot in Anniston Alabama. Its the largest Tank and tracked vehichles repair facility in the nation. Try looking at it in google earth its massive.

  • i guess after my train came through bnsf just handed the locos to NS to pay off horsepower or something. maybe i'll see them again also; unless they are on their way back now.

  • Wow sweet :P

we don't get stuff like that up in here in Canada. a whole train of tanks :P

  • even if they got jacked, there no good with out keys, and ammo.

  • Do you get the feeling that this train looks like a giant snake slithering through the curve? Scary :p ;)

  • Oh to be certain dmireengineer. There are probably manned check points where nobody will ever see them.Satellite surveillance?High tech sensors?Probably!!Hehehe..Sneaky huh?

  • Simply amazing.Nice Post!!

  • Attention terrorists and insurgents:These are now coming to a town near you.Buy your tickets now.

  • o man i'd have been drooling over that- did u get any pics or vids? when was it? i know this particular train was part of an army division deploying to iraq for the new year.

  • i Hope the engineers don't stop for anything. If so i would want a gun. They might not be loaded but they are worth some money

  • Cool , lots of 105MM self prepeled howitzers

  • i didn't even notice until after i watched this video a few time that i had howitzers also--i think there are 3 different types of equipment on these flat cars. i missed a really long train of humvees a few days before, so this made up for it!

  • You are lucky, I havent seen one of these trains through here in years..great job, deff. favorited!
