  • TRUE HIP HOP

  • Put on yr ears and down with yr ink swords. Absorb and forget about it. What? Feel high from listenin to this...

  • Must every collab now be competition. Just enjoy the song. One more thing all of you saying G Rap hasn't influenced much people you are nuts. Or born after 1995

  • Classic instant.

  • If it wasnt for G rap, Pun would have never been inspired and we may not have ever been blessed with his music.

  • i love this beat so much!! makes me jumping in my room....

  • why cant they both be great? whys one have to be better?

  • i like kool g lot better cuz his flow

  • it didnt get airplay because it sounds like some wack bad boy b-side from 1997. at least kool g rap slaughters it, but i guess thats just what he does since he's the most consistently dope mc of all time. nobody else has gone so long without trying to go commercial.

  • RZA is going by the TRUE (KRS-ONE) format of BRONX =MAKES IT / BROOKLYN=TAKES IT

  • This song is so dope I don't know why the video didn't get any airplay.

  • did i just see ghostdog

  • THIS THA RZA @ HIS BEST!!! THA BEATS, THA RHYMES, ANY DJ BITCH!!!! NASTYNAS373 U ON THAT ROCK IF U AINT GIVIN THA RZA HIZ DUE ON THA MIC AND U 4GOT DIAMOND D AS A PRODUCER/RAPPER!!! GET YO SHIT STR8 B4 U END UP SOUNDIN LIKE A COMPLETE IDIOT NUFF SAID!!!

  • is that forrest whitaker?... wtf...

  • @veritasinsitu this was on the soundtrack for Ghostdog. Jim Jarmusch movie which had Whitaker and RZA doing the soundtrack and cameo.

  • @veritasinsitu uve seen ghost dog or what?

  • Rza > Kool G Rap

Wu Tang Clan > everyone else

  • @2cartons lol dude i love them but kool g rap is like top 10 rappers of all time. rza is a producer, hecant rap better than g rap although he's one of the best at rapping and producing at the same time like pete rock, ras kass, q-tip, etc

  • Fuck "who is better". We have real shit while the rest of the world rots with its Lil Gayne and Flake and Phlegminem, etc.

  • @WARSHIPSATIN999 phlegminem? why not just feminem lol

  • @nastynas373 why dont you like marshal?

  • Comment removed

  • oh shit never heard this one.shit is lovely

  • THIS IS TRUE, NO ONE IS TOUCIN G RAP BUT! Rza came harder on the first verse, he rhymed Kool G rap with booby trap to dooby rap to scooby snack to doody crack hahahah too nice, and Rza's delivery on this track was fresh, gotta say that G Rap and Rza came about the same on this one

  • Another Funky Classic, I Bang This When I'm BenzRidin'.......UrbanDynamix Baby, We Feelin' That From Wu University......Dope.

  • rza in my top 5 doa producers,he a nice rapper but never that he doper than grap

  • THX! @kool g rap and rza 4 that what´s yours.,

    muck

    Thx @djmed 4 showing!,

    muck 8]|

  • I think my comment was deleted - but it lives on. You people know this.

  • koo.G.rapp.all.dayy!!!

  • kool.G.rapp..nuff.said

  • In my opinion, this gotta be one of the illest beats RZA put down!

  • aint no need to compare the two, they are two totally different mc's who im sure have had a big impact on each other, especialy kool g rap influencing the rza....we should just be happy that they did a track together!

  • Dope. Love that classic sound. 5*

  • Why do you kids make everything a competition. Its IMPOSSIBLE to say who the best is in Wu Tang. Their styles are so unique from eachother and not one of them is not a Genius.

  • @clarencejones07 Wow clarence, you getting a cut from the sales of that book lol? You're on like every video saying that.

  • @romainelettuce2

haha ye just thought the same thing ;p

  • @clarencejones07 bought that book today

  • @clarencejones07 Received the book 2 days ago. Worth buying!

  • @clarencejones07 Can yall retards stop spamming that same damn msg? WE KNOW ABOUT YOUR BOOK ALREADY.

  • @clarencejones07 stop promoting that stupid book-and tell all ur friends to stop too- wat the fuk u gettin paid or wat-foolios!

  • both these cats nicer than anything thats out today

  • @shamumaga Jay Electronica is better then these niggas ta me bro. They dope but J on Illmatic nas level. BIG statement- yes I know.

  • @rccola8282 hmmm interesting ... i like jay but not that much ... everybody got they own taste tho .. at least u know good quality music and didnt say WEEZY! lol

  • @shamumaga fa sho mane. YOu know Carter2 and Mixtape Weezy was real emceeish though....however I feel you to the most on the state of current hip hop (minus a few)...And current weezie bullshit.

  • @rccola8282 yea da drought series is wayne at his best

  • i cant believe you fools are saying rza is better than kool g rap, did you lot only find about hip hop an hour ago?

  • @BeenaBee they real different bro...apples and oranges...magic and Bird....sometimes I need shrimp, sometimes a burga you know.

  • @rccola8282 Exactly but the main difference is Kool G Rap is the one of the godfathers of lyricism...he built a platform for NaS, the Wu niggas and every nigga in Queens to stand on...saying Rza is better than Kool G Rap is blasphemy

  • @BeenaBee What you talking about man...if you think G Rap is is another league than RZA your wack!

  • @moss824 Yes I do, RZA is definitely not as illl as Kool G Rap, and not to say he's wack as well because we all know RZA's rhyme game in the Wu but come on, to say Kool G Rap is less skilled than RZA is blaspemous, every lyrical nigga acquired the blueprint to rhyme from Kool G Rap and of course Rakim

  • @BeenaBee Well, RZA produces and raps (both insanely)...kool g just raps. RZA is musical genius...kool g a lyrical genius. And maybe on the east coast (still forgetting KRS), but how about eazy e, ice-t, cube. Those guys are far more blueprint than Kool G.

  • @moss824 DEF NOT EASY AND ICE T BUT CUBE MIGHT BE ON KOOL G'S LEVEL!

  • @facepoker1 your trippin son no one's on g rap's level

  • @BeenaBee everyone says whats he thinks, i think kool g rap is better than Rza too..but some idiots thinks that lil wayne is better than g Rap,and some idiots thinks eminem is better than g Rap. they are just stupid, no brains..thats it,we know whos better thats it..

  • @BeenaBee people can say what they want. and overall, i'd say rza is "better" and kool g. rza - a legend in the game and the largest producer for the wu, and i'd personally say his rhymes are more complex

kool g has the flow, being one of the first with that multisyllabylic shit, but i could never say he was as influential as the rza.

i love kool g rap's shit, and as a rapper one on one, i prefer him, but the rza is a beast, and i was never really a fan of kool g without polo

  • @MeIonSowda i don't like your point, he was more influencial. It's not because someone has been more influencial that he is better.

  • @Philbm1 i didn't say that was WHY he was better, i just mentioned it. read the other shit.

i just believe the rza has contributed more to hip hop than kool g has.

as for "better", i use quotations because there's no way to ever prove one is better than the other, but i was putting out my opinion.

  • @BeenaBee seriously. RZA rhymes words, g rap rhymes entire sentences.

  • @BeenaBee - I said the same thing and my comment was deleted after a few months!

  • @BeenaBee It's not enough to make up for a career of not rhyming as well as G Rap, but RZA DOES have an equally hot verse on this track and, when he's on point can rhyme at least as well

  • @BeenaBee lol... I love this comment lol. I feel like that a lot of times lol...

  • @BeenaBee Be thankful they even know who RZA is and G Rap are. Most mainstream rap fans don't.

  • @thestevester94 true but they still need to re-check their history books and show recognition to the niggas that truly set the standards for rapping ability...

  • is it important who is better?

ask both of them, they'll say " What the fuck you talkin about, you've understand nuthin"

it isn't about "who is better?"

if you know something about hip hop you must know that

  • @Poppyess thx for that man, was just 'bout to complain. you're just gd right on that!

  • for sho

  • @BeenaBee Seriously!!! I mean Kool G is considered one of the better technical emcees and heavily influential but the contribution to hip-hop given by Rza through highly influential beats, emceeing and pioneering the most successful groups in hip hop history hmmmm One verse from Kool G is sooo similar to the last one you heard...

  • oooooooh dats dirty as fuk niga

  • rza writes rhymes a lot better than he makes beats

  • @Roklan2000 say what???i think you should reverse that son

  • @msnikish No, I meant what I said. Rzas beats be clumsy. His rhymes on the other hand be TIGHT

  • @Roklan2000 You mother is clumsy... Rza is one of the greatest producers of all times.

  • @davikalo ahhahaahhahahaahah xD

  • No 1 can step 2 kool g raps flow and story telling excpet Rakim!

  • Ok guys - let's please NOT list the X top rappers in Wu. This is going to get ridiculous since none of us will agree with the exact order LMAO. And for the love of God himself - I'm going to clarify this once again. I am not saying RZA is a bad rapper. He is good and like I said, I been listening to him since the early 90s. In an interview, he literally said that he is one of the illest MCs to bless the mic. I (and you) know he has skills, but he is not THAT amazing.

  • @kinetikwun in his prime he was one of the illest at that time.this song i never liked.rza killed alot of tracks though.to compare these 2 is just stupid though they both are ill.im with you though hes nice but i think over the years he didnt go hard anymore so people got used to it.

  • 0:07

That is Tony Starks right there, taking care of your bizness ;)

  • G rap is the better emcee but rza ripped this shit

  • you stupid fuck rza has been raping for over twenty years ..and hes in the top 10 mcs of all time without a doubt

  • @hungarian1 HARD SHIT .RZA FIRST CAME OUT IN 90 HE IS A VET IN THE GAME

  • @hungarian1 now i am a huge fan of the rza and the wu but to say hes one of the top 10 mcs of all time is a little too much.. he does have some really great verses that contain a lot of thought and metaphors but sometimes he has an awkward flow where it sounds like he cant catch the beat

  • this is rza at his best as an mc

  • RZA is a wu legend and i love loads of his verses (wu tang clan aint nothin to fuck wit!, 4th chamber verse is epic!) but dont you think that sometimes when he raps he sounds out of breath?

  • @kaaazim16 yea he sounds like that because he used to be real heavy on the pipe. crack pipe that is

  • you cant say RZA is better than KGR ... vise versa.

Theyre both different in there own way and they both rip it up.

  • eazy e is better!

  • @secredeath don´t be stupid he didn´t even write his own lyrics, his best lines were written by cube

  • RZA is magic

  • Rza is one of the greatest producers, no question, but he is one of the nicest rappers ever, too. Straight up.

  • I had the "Ghost Dog" soundtrack & it had this joint on it & i lost that shit. i had not heard it in 8 years & it's a banger.

  • RZA is seriously one of the greatest producers of our time

  • I wish RZA would pick up the grimy piano beats and make a Wu album....and also he needs to make more appearances cuz he is amazing

  • king chyldz dontplay spreading love its the brooklyn way check it out reality reach open that book keep hip hop alive

  • Its just 2 different styles and G rap is like the godfather of rap as far as I am concerned and every rapper in the world copied his style by default because everyone does what hes been doing and he did it first. Although, G rap does spit the same shit for 25 years as ERIC122475 touched on and there isnt a more thoughtful artist in the world then RZA. So they both are definitely up there but RZA is just far to much if you look at the versatility aspect

  • it's no way in hell RZA is better than G RAP, Hell for all we kno G RAp probably wrote Rza verse lmao

  • east coast in the buildin

  • do you hear the bells? I hear bells!...stuck to ya ass like a victoria's secrete wedgie

  • Reminds me of the beat from Geto Boys, Murder After Midnight

  • kool g is nice but i mainly hear him talk about the same ish just different metaphorically..rza on the other i hear talk about all types of things so personally i think rza is better

  • yeah i agree man

  • @ERIC122475 I don't how many times you hear Rza rhyme chemical, biological and digital, every rapper has some corney shit, because rap is about the nutsack not the mind, most lyrics don't hold up to close scrutiny. point is it's not a contest, but if it were Kool G wins in the flow category

  • Comment removed

  • FLOW..YES. LYRICS...RZA GOT IT

  • @ERIC122475 that's the main beef with Kool G. he kills everything he does, but he does the same stuff all the time, so...

  • He is decent on this track. I was just listening to Bells of War and that had some hit and miss lines.

  • However - it is still a sick song

  • Probably one of the HOTTEST tracks..........EVER!

  • these niggers sure can sing

  • whats this sample?

  • both of them niggaz did they thing, but rza spanked that shit......

  • GhostDOG!!

  • KILLER BEAT!!!!

  • G Rap

  • i just realized, rza bears a strong resemblance to malcolm

  • X or 'In the Middle"? Cuz I don't think he looks like X. Are you black?

  • yeah. Are u white?and who thefuck is in the middle?

  • No I'm not. Malcolm In The Middle dude. This guy doesn't look like X. He looks like a good producer who can't really rhyme that well.

  • so u disagree, so? plus rza rhymes jus fine

  • yeh i do but it's all good dude, was jus makin a stupid joke.

as for RZA rhyming - see my commentary below. opinions are divided on this one.

  • @kinetikwun what the fuck you saying he cant rhyme that well

what the hell does that have to do with whether he looks like any malcom

    or what race you are

    my god.

  • Don't enter in the middle of an exchange of messages without reading the whole thing. And he can't rhyme that well, it's already been established. He isn't bad - but he isn't that good.

  • @kinetikwun i did read the whole thing.

and though i understand your point,

i cannot let you say "he can't rhyme that well"

  • To this I will say that RZA rhymes better than most of the commercial pop rhymers that are making catchy pop tunes. I am not comparing him to them, but moreso the rest of Wu and other real emcees. He cannot rhyme that well compared to someone like Kool G Rap who will always be lightyears ahead of RZA.

  • @kinetikwun Basically, out of all Great rappers, RZA is your least favorite. Thanks for sharing. Let us agree to disagree.

(Once again, I am not saying RZA is better than Kool G as a rapper... but "lightyears" is a long way and i think you're a bit hard on the good Rakeem)

  • Which is why I'm not sure if you read the whole thing, but it stated before the whole Malcolm thing (which was I admitted was a joke). Also, this topic occured on other RZA songs and before the last several posts on this song. Basically, I didn't make any comment on RZA until I saw an interview where he was proclaimed to be "one of the greatest MCs to ever bless the mic". So it goes with what I was saying - he is good, but not tTHAT great.
