Always made the correct and simple passes but he had a fantastic range also.Doesn't really show it here but he was also a great ball winner. He had a very similar style of play to Roy Keane, just kept things ticking over all the time.Great complete Midfielder the likes of which are rare at the moment. A lot of talented players but very few really know how to play the position, Gerard and Lampard for example are incredibly talented but neither are a true midfielder.
