@ZipZagginGallifrey and Moffat also doesn't over do the Christmas angle, yeah last years was based on Xmas Carol but RTD's Xmas specials were somewhat corny, eg the santa claus robots, the christmas tree going mad, they were too Christmas'y where as 'Carol' last year could have been a mid series episode.
