it's interesting you'd put "Little Miss Blue"in this mix.this tune as well as many in your collage are my favorites.never the less, the Dion tune is too kool.
Thank you Pericqo34. A great medley of songs from yesteryear. I was fortunate to be in my teens during the rock 'n' roll era. I think it was the best ever, and the fact kids are still playing these songs 50/60 years on might bear that out. But it's condescending to mock the kids of today because they like Beiber or anyone else. Let the kids enjoy themselves, and let us remember the old times. And weren't they just great ones!
There was never a song from this era that did not make you feel better other than heartbreak songs. This is real MUSIC, not the crap in the last 10-15 years. Not one song do you hear in the words anyone telling you to overdose, go kill someone or yourself. These were happy times. I grew up in these times. You towed the mark, dressed like a human. You did not think it was cool to show your underwear or look like a slob. There were standards.
si alguien tiene un mix de m'usica de los 50's y 60's que sali'o a fines de los 80's 'o principios de los 90's y la puede subir 'o decirme como se llama se los agradecer'ia mucho

@rawrmonster1000 Well, you CAN still enjoy the music of the 50's, most of these songs are timeless, so you didnt actually have to be born then. Just sit back, relax, and enjoy.
Good selection, liked it alot...... I'm looking for a 50s song with words " in the candy shop around the corner, met a little girl and she's a gonner, I looked at her she looked at me, stole a kiss and oooee, gum drop so good right down to the last drop" ......
You know here in the Philippines, specially on Sunday mornings, Radio stations play the oldies. But to tell you the truth these musics of yesteryears are much better than the musics we of today...nothing but shouting. Of course there are some exceptions.
Question, doo-wop fans. Do you know a song called either (Now You Must) Cry Cry Cry or (Now You Must) Try Try Try from this era? I do not know who sings it and have tried to look it up on YouTube, to no avail. If you know the song and the band who recorded it, could you please let me know? Thanks in advance. :-)

Great comments from Radtasticjen. Music of yesterday has soul and meaning and words you can understand. Todays generation is lost with their feelings of doom, gloom, sex, drugs and violence. Artists today only know how to preach to their buyers of their so called music through their really unforgettable melodies of hip-hop and rap. . The youth of today don.t buy songs from artists like Beyonce and even Lady Ga Ga, Alicea Keys . This type of previous mentioned singers have
Che kaiser! Pure qui il cinese! Giusto perchè ci stanno Paul Anka, i Beatles (per i quali ho un amore sviscerato), Gene Pitney ed Elvis Presley, oltre ad altri gruppi e solisti che mi piace il video!
Sukiyaki was remade in English and had these words: If only you were here, you'd wash away my tears, the sun would shine, once again you'd be mine. But in reality, you and I will never be. You took your love away from me. "Taste Of Honey" sang this.
I was born in '57 a baby boomer and these songs are before me....I just can't wonder what it was like to have lived during these times? My mom was part of the big bands and the poodle skirts and dances -- I love this music more than I did my own era -- i was clued to the TV every Sunday watching well you know Lawrence Welk at my grandmothers house LOL
see i'm pretty young, and none of this music was popular when I was growing up. I dont understand how the concept of music has changed so much since then.. like these songs actually have meaning, and their passionate and soulful.. music of today doesnt even need instruments.. just a bunch of synthetic beats..
@RADTASTICjen that's why today's songs ain't got the same soul give me that ol' time 50's 60's rock-n-roll LOL I was born in the 60's so I could really appreciate this style of artistic music. Like you said songs back then had real meaning. They challenged you to use your imagination. Not like today where everyone's out for one thing how much money they're going to make. No character, respect or responsibility. Just a bunce of BS thrown together and call it music. What a joke & insult.
@RADTASTICjen It used to be a major investment for a record company to produce a bunch of vinyl LP's, so the artists had to be really good. Rock music was young and still experimental. And people didn't have as much money, kids especially. Today anyone with $1000 can produce a bunch of CD's, so we have lots of bad music. Rap & hip hop are WAY too popular. We also have talent shows that spawn singers who appeal to little girls. It's all commercialism combined with cheap technology.
Man! It just cannot get any better than this. Music that said it all, and can never be again. Thank you for sharing this gem of a video with everyone, periqco34. You get 5 stars and faved. Oldies music is still the best in my book.
@StardustPilot I tried it but no luck, it just made me feel tired,so I tried putting my old records on and going to bed, this also didnt work,I had forgotten to pay my power bill, and seeing that I need to get up a few times a night to take a leak I stubbled around in the dark and got lost so I spent the night in the hallway and if that wasnt bad enough I still had not found the bathroom so I dont have to tell you what happend, but a least it gave me something to tell my friends about.

It doesnt matter what age you are to appreciate good music, Im 53 and I love this music , I also like a lot of rock, rap etc.
In fact I reckon Fall Out Boy is great, the singer has a great voice, and could sing this kind of music brilliantly.
