  • try boots organic range they have a balm very similar to eve lom for 6 pounds

  • hehe I know of a hot product which will blow these out of the water :)

  • Hi I love your reviews and make up hints- I just discovered them! Just wondered if you have tried Temple Spa - In The Begining cleanser?I found it on Nigella Lawsons website on her Nigella loves page. She raved so much about it I checked it out and have ordered some online 25 quid -not too pricey. It seems the same sort of cleanser ie muslin cloth come with it. Have you tried it?=)

  • This is a great review - Thank you! I had a travel set of Eve Lom products for christmas and have quickly fallen in love with her products - but i may try the clarins before i commit to spending £48!!

  • ty! I am going to post a vid review of the dupe from Loreal - which is more like the Clarins one. It's good as a drugstore buy. Hope to post it either this weekend ornext week.

  • I really want to try the Eve Lom cleanser and cloth. I heard about it a while ago and haven't forgotten it. You make it sound so good!! :)

  • i just checked out your previous skincare video and you skin and brows look great now! will have to check out the eve lom.

  • hey thanks for the reply about nars last time :) i've never tried eve lom but you know Lush (bath bombs..)? they have a cleanser called the ultra bland. comes in a £5.50 (?) pot and its made of mainly peanut oil and honey. really thick like eve lom. just smear a tiny bit, wipe off with a damp cotton pad/muslin cloth. great for eye makeup- even my mac liquidlast! maybe we could do a swap sometime hehe!!

  • I have just purchased the Clarins Marula Oil cleanser on the basis of this video and I'm loving it so far... Have just finished using Liz Earle which was OK ... not brilliant for me. Have used them ALL Eve Lom, Amanda Lacey, Karin Herzog, E'Spa ... really depends on what texture you are looking for. Oilier/ Waxy/Emulsified ie Liz E. Best budget buy I've found is Champney's Super Rich Floral Balm £12 from their website or most large Sainsburys. Great informative videos - keep going! ;-)

  • Thank you for sharing - kinda interesting that so many other cos hve similar products. What are your thots on the Amanda Lacey? Let me know what you think about the Clarins one!

  • i have heard great things about Eve Lom but i can't find it anywhere here in Canada. next time i'm in the uk i'm going to stock up!

  • After watching your first skincare video and now this video, you've convinced me to try Eve Lom. So I emailed the company for a sample and tried it and it's true how you say a little goes a very long way! The 5ml sample sachet would last about 3 applications!

I am currently a Liz Earle user and it has worked wonders for my skin. For less than the price of one EL cleanser, you can buy her cleanser, toner and moisturiser and have a few quid left to get lunch!

  • Hi there

Just stumbled on your videos while researching eve lom cleanser. So nice to see what products have worked for you as we have simalar features. Have you tried Mac Concreate eye shadow for your brows? Works ok for me, but I am always looking for something better.

  • Thanks! Concrete was too light still for me - Mystery is one I wld go for but I am actually using the brown e/s shade from the Xmas hols 08 smokey palette which is perfect!

  • I think I will check out Mystery as the concrete is a little dusty looking. It is soooo hard to find something natural to fill in brows with.

    Thanks

  • Moodeve you have gorgeous skin! I used Eve Lom products a while back and loved how they worked initially, however I read into the ingredients and became concerned. Almost all of the ingredients are either, derivatives of petroleum oil, waxes, alcohols, and preservatives that are restricted in the US. These ingredients are very inexpensive to acquire and I often wondered why the price point for this line is so high? It has gorgeous packaging and I too love the muslin cloth.

  • Thanks! So glad you posted your comment - will def check that out. Do you know why they are restricted in the US? And is that why you stopped using it - what do you use now?

  • i used it once. The impression and feeling of the product is fantastic but like you i backed off when i started looking into the ingredients. Alot of the ingredients are not natural at all, infact chemical based, the ingredients are also used in alot of commercial production. Not natural at all!!!! i now use the Dr Haushka products, Fantastic product,

  • i love eve lom! the mask is amazing. I use to use the eve lom cleaser alot and yeah it is abit expensive and it only usally lasted me about 3 months before i needed to buy more. I use purity made simple by philosophy, its actually amazing!

The liz earle cleanse and polish i never got on with, not great for sensative skin :(

  • Hi there, any idea if Eve Lom is available in Shanghai or Hong Kong pls?

  • Hi - I think it is available at Joyce Beauty. There's one in the Ocean Terminal/Harbour City complex

  • sick

  • You have beautiful skin. I am really thinking about trying the Eve Lom. I have Dry/Normal skin, so a balm would be great for me. Bobbi Brown has a balm as well. Have you ever tried it? Also, do you use a toner after cleansing with the balm? Thank you.

  • Thank you! I haven't tried the BB balm - so would be interested to know if you do get it.

I didn't use a toner for ages after incorporating the Eve Lom in my routine, which was fine - but I've reintroduced it - habit as well as I just feel more refreshed in a way.

  • Very interesting vid. I must check out that Clarins wash, it's a bit more approachable than Eve Lom! (although your skin does look fabulous.) I am loving your eyes in this, sooo beautiful! I am so happy I have Diamond Lil, it's a very special colour. *Really* suits you! x

  • Thank you! Love Diamond Lil! I like the Clarins alot alot alot alot - purely cos it 'melts' away makeup very easily. : D

  • Thanks for this vid..I just purchased the Eve Lom starter kit from space nk...it has this cleanser, cloth and a couple of other things from her line. Excited to try it out.

  • I hope it works as well for you as it has for me. Do stick with it - it took me about a month for my skin to adjust to the regimen before seeing results.

  • Hi! First of all I want to say you look great today. 2nd, Do you know if the Eve Lom cleanser is sold in the U.S?

  • Thank you! I think Eve Lom is only available in the US at SpaceNk stores

  • I love learning of such great and new products from you, thank you for doing this video. I have never heard of muslin for use on the face. Is it quite gentle as an exfoliating cloth? Quite economical though :) I totally agree if I find something that works for me, it's worth it to pay a bit more. I will definitely check this out, since I adore your choices. And may I just say how beautiful the blues & grey's look on you :)

    xoxo from you #1 fan

  • #curtseys# : D

The Eve Lom cleanser is like a balm cleanser so it doesn't lather off - so using a muslin cloth kinda feels like a facial when you press it on your face. It is a gentle cloth -if it's good enough for baby skin then it's good enough for me! : D

I hesitated for ages about Eve Lom bc of the price and I thought nothing warranted spending that amount of money - but I was wrong! It happens : D #shrugs# I am loving the e/s too - thanks! (snigger snigger - the bribe worked!) : X
