Hey, my name is Kirsten. I LOVE all of your work. I discovered you today while watching Joni Mitchell videos :) I am also a big fan! I too believe i was born late and agree it is our job to keep folk music alive. I am a singer songwriter myself, with much more to learn (although i suppose we are always learning) I have a tendency to write love songs. There will never be too many of those. Thanks for posting! This song is awesome! I want it on my mp3 player! is this possible? I grew up with folk music, and I think if you were doing this back in the day, you would have sold some serious records (records? what are records?)!

@whoWouldYaLIKEmeToBe thank you so much! at the moment i don't have a better version of it, but i'm in the process of (slowly) re-recording many of my songs to make a home grown cd. one day there will be enough time to get it all done! :) (ps i've always thought i was born too late- i love folk music too! course i also love big band jazz and bossa nova...guess it's actually a good thing to be born later cuz i get to hear it all! :))

I just have to laugh silently and shake my head whenever I hear someone say folk is dead. Folk is about folk like us and folk like us are still folk and darlin' lots of folks just don't get it anymore! Did that make any sense at all? It did to this folk. But I drink some so if it made any sense explain it to me would ya? At the moment I'm pretty sure I was making a very profound point! (smile)

ha, thanks rolland. it made sense to this folk too ;) it'll never die as long as we keep it alive. people who don't get it are just stuck in the fabricated music scene that seems to be all the rage. like all fads it'll pass but folk will always remain.

a live band before and they had really great visuals.. at a live gig.. sure Pink Floyd led the way. but on a visual medium like Youtube.. surely visual is as important as audio.. multi media.. audio visual.. seeing and hearing is beleiving....
