I think all of her albums were good. The best being Supposed Former Infatuation Junkie. IMHO. But, like it was stated earlier, more popular doesn't mean more talented. Alanis Morissette is one of the most talented and intelligent women in music today and yet performers, not musicians like Miley and other prepackaged pop stars get more attention and more record sales. Alanis doesn't even have a record company backing her at this moment. What kind of world do we live!!!

The only thing that annoys me about Flavors of Entanglement is that a couple of the songs sound gay and poppy, and I think I can hear a hint of autotune. Just a little though. And I guess that's okay, because she was originally a pop singer. And if she does use autotune, the amount doesn't compare to how much mainstream singers use.

Underneath is one of the best songs on the album. And Orchid.

She hasn't sounded this good in years. I mean citizen of the Planet, versions of violence, the Guy who leaves...this album reminded me that this was the woman who wrote you quata know.

That and Under Rug Swept I find to be her weakest releases (although at least urs had some really great tracks unlike scc for the most part.) Scc just felt forced to me...and the lyrics where no where near as good as previous released to whereas Flavors brought back better lyrics (even on the "pop" tracks) and a much more interesting musical style.

I think they were too quickly released, she didn't spend a lot of time on them. Maybe what added to the quality of foe is the amount of time she spent working on it between 2008 and when she last released in album in 2004. What annoys me the most about Alanis Morissette is that she's not big in my country. She's not mainstream, I don't hear enough of her.
