  • me thinks 16 ...Qg5 (double attack on g2 and d2) was painful for white.

  • aargh you were all setup to win the bishop on h5 and didn't do it! (after 0-0-0 by Black g4 wins piece bxg4 nxg4 Qxg4 bh3)

  • wonderful

  • 18. d3 wins the knight unless I'm mistaken.

  • What's wrong with 15. a4 to keep from losing the exchange?

  • Yes, that was quite a positional game as you predicted, KC :P

  • That bishop trap was beautiful. In a million years I might have seen that xD

  • delightful!

  • You have a very creative interpretation of the English Opening. Are you psyched for the London Chess Classic or what? :D.

  • nice tactic!

  • love crazy games :)

  • You probably needed to move Qc2 before gxh5, the bishop wasn't going anywhere

  • i think the point system should change as well present setup is unfair and rewards douchebaggery too much

  • Very original game. Hypermodern stuff. Your first centre pawn to move was 19 d3 - is that some sort of record?

  • about the Tal Memorial.... it is understandable that Anand had as many draws as he did considering that he will be defending the championship shortly, showing that he is "the man to beat NOT DRAW." There were a few interesting draws though were either side could have went wrong. Just shows how the tinyest adjustments can change a potentially winning position to a draw. Point system should change but it just shows the influence of engines at that level, grinding the slightest out of nothing.

  • They are going to use the 3 point football type scoring in the London next week...that must make sense.
