Thus is nature and is fascinating in it's harsh reality but it is not something I take pleasure in witnessing. It does however bring to us the reality of mother nature and her creatures. Most mother animals fight for their young even if it means laying down their lives.This is sad for me but I accept the realities of nature for what they are. This is just part of nature and something some of you have to deal with. Large predators all over the world compete for food and they will kill one another to reduce the competition and better ensure there survival. It is called survival of the fittest.

Second Siberian Tigers weigh no where near 800 lbs they average 450 lbs for adult males and a recent study of 15 adult males none of them were heavier then 420 lbs. As the title says this is a sloth bear not a Brown bear. Sloth bears average 220 lbs not 1500 lbs. Kodiak Bears have had recorded weights of 2500lbs but average 900-1000lbs

I missed the part of the cub being swatted out of a tree. Tigers will eat anything. I even saw one consume a leopard after it had killed it. Of course, this female Sloth bear was not even a 1/3 the size of the Male tiger. Sloth bears are about half the size of Asiatic black bears, but are just as fierce. Interesting video.
