natural or not, its natural for me to kill wild animals that make me feel in danger, if i was their i would have shot the tiger dead, put 40 rounds of lead in its head! dont get confused people that tiger will kill and eat a human just as quick as it killed this bear and her cub show no mercy in these dangerous animals because they show no mercy to you! i bet a couple mini-14 rounds in that cats ass ill calm him down :)
The baby did not get away. The scene in slow motion was the baby trying to climb up a tree or make its final stand with the tiger. But to be honest the tiger did the cub a favor and gave it a quick death. W/o the mother he was doomed
sloth bears have been known to kill several male bengal tigers a year, it has been happening for a while, this was a mother with a cub that looked like it feel off the back of the mom when the tiger suprised the bear
I agree with jackcarterog. Nature is hard to watch some times, and even harder when you see a baby unable to defend itself that could've easily been saved.
In a world where our valuable animals are disappearing daily, if I was not in immediate danger ... I would have saved the cub. There are many rehabilitation centers that would have helped it go on to live a full life in the wild.
Unfortunately, with my work I have to watch similar situations to this a lot. Truth is, in most countries there is NO actual law that states that intervention is illegal. For the most part, it is an ethos that nature parks share. That being said of course the Tiger had the right to food (the mother) without interruption, but on reading your blog, you stated that the baby rolled down the hill an landed next to the vehicle. The Tiger had it's dinner, it wasn't going to eat the baby
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
Wow, the cub was WITHIN ARMS REACH and these tourists decided ot let the cub die because that was "nature".
I hope those tourists get eaten alive by a Tiger. As they reach out for me to grab them and to pull them into safety, I'll sit there with the look of Ivan Drago in my eyes and say "Karma is a bitch"
you ra-tarded people need to read the whole story above the baby bear ran to the jeep and was at arms length to the people. arms length. they CHOSE not to save him maybe because it would be an inconvience. i would have scooped it up it was a baby not able to hurt anyone for gods sake they have a bear sancuary in india. fuckheads grow a brain and heart.
Thus is nature and is fascinating in it's harsh reality but it is not something I take pleasure in witnessing. It does however bring to us the reality of mother nature and her creatures. Most mother animals fight for their young even if it means laying down their lives. This is sad for me but I accept the realities of nature for what they are. I eat meat and am no better than this Tiger so I don't blame the Tiger for it's own need to survive.
Jesus Christ, here we go again with all the "to kill" or "not to kill" bullshit again. Some of you people just can't get it through your thick fucking skulls that if YOU don't want to kill for your food then DON'T. However, there are many of us (MOST of us actually), that DO kill for our food.
If you can't handle that FACT then too bad. Talking all your shit ain't gonna change the fact that most people WILL kill other animals for food, or will consume food already killed. End of story.
@Jchnscn: I sure do hope you're a vegetarian, coz I am...and I would interfere by either saving the animals you might eat or shooting you if i had to do so. See the parallels drawn? it just doesnt work
Nature's way. Harsh? Yes, but again, nature. And far more humane than those disgusting factory farms where millions of animals die each year, not always instantly.
Its really super video uploaded .Unfortunately we were on the other trek.Missed by few minute. You hav been really lucky to see this act.Which happens to be one in life time.................
Did you make this account just for this video? I know it's just nature, but you shouldn't be entertained by this kind of thing. Seeing this in person wouldn't bother me so much, but seeing that it's uploaded to youtube with 18 likes is disturbing.
Since the Mother bear failed to protect her cub, she was weeded out. The cub would have starved to death had the tiger not killed it. It is nature's way.
This is just part of nature and something some of you have to deal with. Large predators all over the world compete for food and they will kill one another to reduce the competition and better ensure there survival. It is called survival of the fittest.
The Tiger isn't doing it just for practice it is doing it for a purpose. the Sloth bear would do the same to unattended Tiger cubs.
A male sloth bear weighs around 300lbs. females slightly less. A male grizzly can weigh 1,000lbs. They average between 600-1000lbs. Bears have incredible strength in their arms. They can rip apart
A grizzly vs a sloth bear or tiger....... your facts are WAYYYYYYYYYYY off.. A grizzly bear is 10 times bigger than a sloth bear and twice the size of a lion. A grizzly bear would destroy a lion in a fight... Check out some of the videos on the Chinese sites where they fight animals as sick as it is clearly a grizzly bear is stronger. the claws alone on a grizzly are almost as large as a lions paw.
@wall5303 if a grizzly bear is 10 times bigger then a sloth bear then my dick is 10 times bigger then eiffel tower. a grizzly on average would be about 2 times bigger then a sloth, which makes my dick about 2 times bigger then eiffel tower :D
@use2slam2 the fat ass bear wouldnt even touch the tiger, the tiger is alot faster then the fat 1500lb, and a 800lb siberian tiger is pure muscle while 1500lb bear is FAT
@NWA90s Hey it is you the stupid dumbass again. First that is a Bengal Tiger not a Siberian Tiger. Second Siberian Tigers weigh no where near 800 lbs they average 450 lbs for adult males and a recent study of 15 adult males none of them were heavier then 420 lbs. In fact the Bengal Tiger is now considered the largest cat.
As the title says this is a sloth bear not a Brown bear. Sloth bears average 220 lbs not 1500 lbs. Kodiak Bears have had recorded weights of 2500lbs but average 900-1000lbs
The cruelty and reality of nature. I found it quite sad to see the baby bear in distress, and i'm a heavyweight boxer. I find it amazing how little compassion is displayed on youtube comments. Maybe a sad reflection on the nature of the human race..
