i love this song! It represents who my ansesters r! it simaly states the charokee lived in the smoky mountins and the fogg on top of the mountins looked like blue smoke! The eagle is a proud symble of the charokee! the eagle flys above the mountins looking over the charokee!Thank you so much for posting this video! And i learned some people r not as lucky as me! Dollys family was poor but they had love. Dolly learned how to sing from her mom! I am now for what i had!

my friend scott sings this song in the show. it seems much more powerful when he sings it, simply because he has a deep voice but also an amazing range. the visuals in the show also increases the power of this song. gives me chills every time.

I just got home from Pegion Forge tonight, I went to Dollywood Saturday and Sunday, Sha-Kon-O-Hey! was an AMAZING show, I would suggest ANYONE to watch it!! I got my season pass too ;) I go like every weekend May-October... Mmm Dollywood, my favorite place to be!

I think this is the best song from the album. I'm undecided upon the album as although I know it is for the Dollywood musical (and I think the songs would be better in a musical) I think generally they are not the best songs Dolly has written and I was a little disappointed.

The songs actually are really good in the show at Dollywood. The song "TIme Flies" is speed up throughout the song in the show. I heard from a member of the cast that some of the songs were changed a bit or 'tweaked' for the show. I haven't actually heard the original recordings of Dolly, I've only heard the songs in the show. Based on the type of songs they are, I'd have to agree that they work better in a show/musical, than as a single recording.
