on that first play, audible to a pa x clown play, cancel PA, put rb on slant right and motion him to the right and hike when he sets

If he users FS to cover the B route or anything short/medium. X's clown route will be a easy 6.

Its a good scheme if your opponent doesn't run up the middle. If you keep having your NT do zone coverage, what's to stop a running QB from running up the middle with all of those offensive linemen protecting him when your ends play QB contain. It's a good scheme if your opponent doesn't run up the middle.

What ya'll fail to realise is that this play is desinged for a 3rd or 4th and forever situation. Yes the short routes are always open, but if it's 4th and 18+, chances are you won't get that first down, unless it's a lucky rocket catch.

Also you can set this play up to become a F@G D to really make it effective. You can audible down into Goalline from this formation aswell givng you some more dangerous options.

Good players know on man coverage you attack the middle of the field with a couple fast receivers and that's wide open on this D. I have watched all your videos and there all garbage. I'm a level 32 and average opp level is 22 this D is garbage trust me.

If you really wanna make this D good don't shift your line in, it will help slow down the drag routes shift them out if anything. Speedy receivers will kill this D though.

on the under smoke play, mlb gets picked up and unless you take control of the blitzing cb, it'll be a medium to big gain.

I tried that play controling some random defender and the blitzing cb takes a different route to get to the qb and the mlb gets picked up most of the time

On that play, control the blitzing cb so he wont take a weird route to the qb

A smart man would take the short routes. One is open everytime. Once you start defending that, then they might throw it deep. A smart man wouldn't take throws that the QB is doing in this video. A smart man wouldn't give you all the time in the world to move your D in position. Atleast, I wouldn't do all of those. I play conservative atleast.

Im eating atm. so this is just first look essesment. in the Q Blitz package. it leaves open one of the slot Recevers.

(LB) and with and good arm QB and smart person playng they can read that right away and bust a big gain on you everytime. Example 2:15 -2:25.

@menace5812 which is why this is a pass d. last time i checked those speed qb's weren't know for being great passers. so you wouldn't have to use this defense for them. its more for the Brady/Manning/Brees type Qb's
