I remember we were fishing a stocked lake a few years back for rainbow trout. We had caught a few and my brother had cleaned them and put them in our cooler. Suddenly there's a huge shadow and about a meter to his right, a big eagle lands to get the fish entrails. Eagles are amazing birds, and when you see one that close you realise just how much so.
Ha ha, love it. Thieving rascal, why spend a lot of effort catching your own when someone else can do it for you. Eagles do share some characteristics with humans.
Dammit? Getting to see that would be way cooler then just catching a stupid fish! If you want to hunt or fish you have to appreciate nature giving you a little competition.
@barrythorpe you might have been relaxed, BUT at the critical moment "Moneyshots", each time the bird came in...you blew it by moving the camera too much. Anyways...good find.
