The argument in the begin does not "make allot of sense". You completely forget about the valuation of your time spent. You could do other things during this time that you would get more enjoment out of than driving, wich is considered to give negative utility. Even though this time might even be spent waiting for a plane it still gives you more value! Take the toll road! Especially if you are on your way somewhere you have something to do.
