@epoforthewin true...misterkurdt is kinda on to something too...I think the bridge after the middle eight is like raindance maggie, making TIME the quintessential peppers' tune. Kurtagx could be right about our John, too. He's a delicate and single-minded genius. Thing is, he was adamant in 04 a B-sides album would happen, then he doesn't want to release what Chad refered to as a whole album sitting in the can that will prob never be released cuz john had moved on musically. FUCK!!

@GRANKOR That’s because the chilli peppers are now a commercial band that cashed in on their early success and reverted to just making mainly "ear candy" for mainstream "casual" music fans. Songs like "Hump de bump" "Snow" and "The Zephyr Song" are all great examples of this. The short instrumental bridge in this song is brilliant.

I never understood people wanting signature guitars anyway. I saw a Noodles one with the tape on it. It was fucking stupid. Frusciante's clean tone isnt hard to produce. Just get a good strat and a good marshall amp. Then find out what effects he uses if you're that bothered about copying him.
