Si la moto etait a blok, environ 280 - 290, vu la vitesse a laquelle elle se fait doubler par la porsche, celle-ci devrait etre au moins a 330 kmh. Hors ce modele ne monte pas a cette vitesse. Elle prend 305 kmh environ au super taquet et il faut bien plus long de piste pour atteindre cette vitesse. Le seul endroit où la porsche pourra se faire la moto a pilotage equivalent, c'est sur une piste sinueuse.

I could be wrong, however, here are some real facts.
Take the well-known Cessna 182. It is powered by a 230 bhp engine.
The Subaru Impreza WRX 2.5 is also powered by a 230 bhp.
The plane's max speed is 278 kph and the Subaru is 228 kph.
So here is a true fact: Max. speed depends 1. on aerodynamics 2. on engine power. And... Weight has nothing to do there (if anyone thought that).

@drdestin C'est bien ce que j'ai essayé d'expliquer en anglais.
La moto aura une meilleure accélération et sera devant sauf dans les vitesses extrêmes ou les chevaux joueront en faveur de la Porsche.
Mais à ces vitesses-là, pour avoir juste 10 km/h de plus, il faut vite ajouter 200 ch à cause de l'énorme pression du "vent" = de l'air.
Et comme j'ai dit c'est quand même plus facile de rouler à 200 en bagnole qu'à moto. Mais n'essayez pas bien-sûr ;-)

For the record books, if you watch the FULL race, you will find the R1 had a fuel problem and had to be shutdown.

hahaha the r1 kicked the porsches azz easily, correct the new r1's do 185mph and that's with a rev limiter due to government regulations, remove the governor and add a full akropovic racing exhaust and it'll hit 200+mph no problem 0-60mph in 2.6 sec imagine that

Saw the entire viedo before, the bike had tranny problems towards the end and let off the throttle, which is why the porche caught up so quick.

the difference between constant torque and constant acceleration (ie jet thrust) vs HP/weight ratios of the bike and car, where acceleration goes down with speed.
very cool video. however, the bike did look like he just decided to slow down.
