Asha Abdo was born and brought up in Kismayo. She worked for Radio Mogadishu as one of its talented group of singers. Later when Somalia went to the docks in 1991, she left for Mombasa, Kenya, where she made this memorable and a beautiful song. What I and you think about Asha means very little. Asha is a lovable person and has tons of talents. Her songs made us happy, and I personally wish her well in her future endeavours.
taarb is da best when i lisen to it , it remains me when i was growing we used to compit dancing it and they wil pay as money mostly during wedding times HARUSI from Rahuma SD
It doest matter to us Tanzanian where is your origin what matters is that you speak our lovely swahili and we understand each other. Asha mam u makes us to be proud of who we are.and always be remembered as asha mtanzania
Whats wrong with Bantus?? Nothing is wrong with them, their a human beings...Asha Abdo is my grandma she's mixed with somali, bajuun and oman. Dont look at her Nationality but her talent wise, she's a legend and still is. Lets talk abt how good of her songs instead Of Tribes, ok thank you!
Could we once for all enjoy the song with little bit of respect for Asha Abdo. We do not have discuss her race and people's origins everytime. She is a Somali, talented musician, and a beautiful lady (Our Queen) who speaks multiple languages. That is all. I wish folks here would consider people's feelings and realize how hurtful their racist words can be. Please show some respect to our icon Asha Abdo Suleiman - Malaika, the queen of East Africa.
