LOL, Claption and JJ are best friends, but it is a stretch to think JJ taught Eric a thing about guitar playing. He has tried to teach Eric how to sing and write songs, but Slowhand steps up when JJ and him team up to do a collaboration. Aint anyone alive who can touch Eric on an electric guitar.
