Wow!! I can't believe how accurate and well made this was. Thoroughly enjoyed every moment of it, and shared it with all my friends. Well done to everyone involved and keep up the good work :o)
Really excellent, I have always wanted to see this story. I have only ever seen the stills from it. Thank you so much for producing this - it was seriously excellent. It's strange to think that this video uses more advanced technology and therefore probably looks better than the original from the 60's.
This is FANTASTIC! It looks great, and would fit in perfectly with the first episode of Dalek Masterplan. Are you guys ever going to offer this as a fan to fan DVD? Bravo! Bravo! Bravo!
My God. I can't quite believe I've stumbled upon this and just watched it. It knocks telesnap recons into a cocked hat. I saw and remember the original 45 years ago and it's just as if it's been found......I just can't believe it!!!! My only miniscule criticism is that the Dalek ray guns should have had inner support rings to make them look authentic but really, that's just me being fussy!!!!! WELL DONE GUYS. I still can't believe what I've just seen.......AMAZING.....
The acting may not be the best in the world but the passion of these young filmmakers is something that should not be underestimated. Good special effects, great costumes and an excellent production. Well done! Simply Brilliant!
Oustanding! Send this to the BBC and get 2Entertain to release it as part of the regular Doctor Who range. They can include the audio track of the original episode as a bonus feature and film some documentaries with you guys.
As far as I'm concerned, Mission to the Unknown is no longer a lost episode. Job done!
My only suggestion though, have you considered trying it in black and white? If you have than I have not yet found it (time strapped at the moment).
The only other thing, the Warrior Daleks themselves are the wrong colour (I make them too, too much Dalek purity on my behalf :P), but the models either way were great (credit to the animators).
All round, a very wonderful production. How long did it take you to create? Epic work indeed. :D
I'm seriously impressed. There's a lot of talent and a fantastic product with no budget. Just imagine what you could achieve with some sponsorship. Brilliant work!
This is absolutely amazing guys, the effects are amazingly mind blowing, i'm so glad you've actually done this as for ages i've wanted to see 'Mission To The Unknown' and you've done it brilliantly, so well done to you all!!!, Daleks Masterplan next then? :P lol
Thanks :D , im not sure, im realeasing the EDF films to youtube and for an experiment doing a "realistic" Thunderbirds rescue, no sound in space etc. Should be fun.
Yes you do, how am i supposed to fight the daleks when you have my survival guide? Like i probably lent it to you after that scene and look what happened... IM DEAD AND GUYS A PLANT!!!! But sure take ur time. :D
This is really a very brilliant reconstruction.
Does the original audio exist?
Couldn't the Dalek voices have been the original ones?
Anyway, it's still really cool!

Besides The Invasion, this is my favourite reconstruction. It's infinitely more interesting to watch than stills and fragments.

Is this a lead in story to the Daleks Master Plan?
