how do you hold the hi hat closed with using double pedal kick???

you might wanna use a cobra clutch (best). the harder way is to depress the hi-hat pedal with your ball of foot, and while doing that, slant your heel to rest on the slave pedal and heel it. i don't recommend the latter though.

What i do is, i unscrew the screw that holds ur hihat symbol as u wish.....and let the top hihat drop completley...or if u want a louder sound u can level them from a certain space of each other and titen the screw!!!!

it was better once it got half way through when you did it continusly. at the start you could have done it with out double kick but your doing alright well done stick to it drums are the best instrument!
