AHHHH I LOVE IT! Its got this gorgeous feel to it, and you can totally play this with just flutes...you don't need a clarinet basson or oboe!!! :D WELL DONE!
its not that easy but its easy if u know what i mean lolzz. but yea i dont like my teacher shes Mean haha but i love playing on the flute. the songs arent all hish technic since its only a 7 band class we start off wit easier songs.
We wanted to do that, however our entire school district doesn't even own one alto flute, and we couldn't afford to rent one. (they don't have an alto flute yet they have an e flat flute, explain that... )
i am a middle school concert pianist and dont get all angry at me, but it does sound better on flutes, i am not an expert, but that is what i think(and yes, i know the names is dance of the reed flutes)
To play higher you should make your embochure smaller but still loose,(making it tight causes it to get airy and makes you start to buzz)and you have to increas the intensity of the air while still blowing the same amount. Dropping your drop helps u in all register(espically when you have a tight embochure =~)
something easier than changing anything involved with your mouth is to just lower your head slightly. like, a change of the angle. its the system i use.

Flute and one clarinet ensemble for our holiday band concert.
Its not that much of a challenge, the way it is arranged, but it is a very fun song!

There should be an Alto flute instead of a Concert flute for the for the fourth part. The low notes are just naturally quiet.

Nice but everyone"blew out" one time or another. You should work on harmonics and lip flexibilty.
Remeber: Loosen the lip muscles the higher u go and use less air.
tubonianflute 4 years ago
no, to go high you have to TIGHTEN your embouchure and blow FASTER. to play lower you ahve to drop your jaw and blow SLOWER.
Tsukuyomi102594 3 years ago
Okay, let me rephrase that.
To play higher you should make your embochure smaller but still loose,(making it tight causes it to get airy and makes you start to buzz)and you have to increas the intensity of the air while still blowing the same amount. Dropping your drop helps u in all register(espically when you have a tight embochure =~)

open your throat to play louder and lower as well. it helps (well my teacher says so)

It sounds better with flutes than with a piano, really good music.

It is called the dance of the REED PIPES a.k.a. dance of the REED "FLUTES".
tubonianflute 4 years ago

I know I'm just trying to imply tht it "should" sound best on flute.
