  • I DO WISH THE RIDERS WOULD TELL US HOW TALL THEY ARE....THAT WOULD GIVE US A BETTER IDEA OF THE SIZE AND RIDING POSITION OF THE BIKE..

  • The way this guy talks, it reminds me of Jim's dad from American Pie. "We'll just tell your mum we ate it". Lol.

  • I wish i was in your shoes... riding a great bike in New Mexico. Fantastic!

  • Love the bike, but why do people insist on drowning out the sound of the bike with music playing?

CAN THE MUSIC, LET US HEAR THE BIKE!

  • I just got a 2010 Bonneville SE, and the entire day at and on the way to the dealership I could hear the cheesy music in this video playing over and over in my head. Thanks! I do like the vid, though. :D

  • @gymbunny75 how do you like your new bike? congratulations on getting one :o)

  • @sooupdragon Well, my husband and I traded our Bonnies for a BMW R1200rt, but I really loved my SE. If we had unlimited funds and room in the garage I would've loved to keep it. I miss it.

  • I used to get annoyed at people not understanding what they are riding, but that is just the folly of youth. I have discovered pragmatism. I like a technically nice motor that sounds good. If you like a nice sounding horn and the stiching on the seat then that makes me happy too. I know we'll both be happy riding down the road.

  • This bloke doesn't have a Scooby! The latest Bonnie is fitted with fuel injectors disguised as carbs. Come on fella, know what you're riding before going thro all that!

  • Bonnie SE, Guzzi V7 Classic, Duc GT1000, Tbird 900, oh man, choices choices choices ...

  • @svaz2006 Bonneville SE all the way, except for a new Norton Commando 961, but they cost twice as much.

  • sigh, one day...

  • Nice bike there buddy. Great Video. Enjoy the ride man..they don't make rides like tht anymore.

  • I want one so bad.

  • That, is one gorgeous looking machine. Kudos to Triumph!

  • this is the most beautyful bike ever built. one day i will buy it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • This guy doesn't even know what he is talking about! This has fuel injection, someone needs to let this guy know what he riding!

  • I’ve seen worse videos on youtube

There are faster, better handling & cheaper bikes but somehow the Bonneville just does it for me, it looks how I imagine a bike to look, no fairings a bit of chrome and beautiful proportions. In my mind they are the 'coolest' bike.

  • EFI buddy, not carbs!

  • fucken wanker

  • @94cona...like the Bonneville? But need less than 33 bhp? Get a Royal Enfiled instead !!! Sounds just as good, or better !

  • @GreenTransportation built using worn-out Third World tooling, and needs loadsa maintenance, Enfields are expensive for what they are.

  • Comment removed

  • Would it be hard to convert one of these to kickstart?

  • how do you think this will handle with a restrictor kit on.. i am planning on getting one but as i am under 21yrs old i cant have a bike with more than 33bhp (unless i restrict it)

  • Does anyone know what the top speed on this beautiful bike is? Not that it really matters... I'm thinking 220-240?

  • @m15t4k3n Are you talking MPH? No, it will max out around 120mph (200kmph), this isn't a sports bike by any means, but rides really, really well.

  • @rssarma Thanks for the info! I was talking kmh, but I looks like was wrong anyway. I saw this bike on the street and fell in love with it, I usually prefer sports bikes, but this is my new dreambike. Cheers!

  • @m15t4k3n

in a magazine that had a review and comparison of it it said that the top speed is 115mph

  • it's a big mistake for outsidego to have this guy tested this bike maybe Triumph lost some sales because of him. this bike is FUEL INJECTED, not CARB dude. He doesn't really know anything about bikes come on.

  • im about to by a new one next month....who knows about gas???????she "drinks" a lot??????

  • did anyone know the cost for the wheels from t100 bonnie????

  • ive got the same bonnie ive just changed the pipes to the louder verision and fitted a centre stand now its a proper bonnie SE

  • That was a nice review. Thanks for uploading!

  • what cc is this bike?

  • @dasmonkeyman 865 cc

  • Nice!

  • It depends on what u want. My dad rode bonnies in the 60's. He has an 05 bonnie right now. Sure, it's a lot smoother or "better" than a 68, it also says Mikuni on the carbs. I was looking at a 74 bonnie yesterday, it was pretty rough but all original, it had disc brakes that appeared originial. They wanted $4,500. I guess I'll stick with my 91 GL 1500 SE Goldwing.

  • +1 to everyone mentioning the lack of carburetors. I laughed when he said "dual carbs, the REAL DEAL!" This vid shows some really nice footage and I like the looks of that bike. I agree with lornesymes though on "whatever happened to an all english bike?" There is no doubt I prefer good looking purposeful parts over the fake looking ones.

  • the bike is actually fuel injected. the throttle bodies are made to look like carbs.

  • Seems like a cool dude, decent review, but yeah thats the thing that ruined all the bikes after 2008, FAKE CARBS if your going to do carbs, do the real deal, if your going to do throttle bodies, put them on, and cover them up. Dont do a half azz job by making the TB's look like carbs. and the alloy wheels look like they are off of an '85 honda Nissin brakes? those are japanese. What ever happened to an all english bike? Ok I'm done ranting...

  • LMAO! Carbs? No. It is a beautiful bike though and sounds nice. I'd like to own one of the new Bonnies.

  • shitty music. wtf

  • The guy is not an engineer. He is an artist, so he tells you what he FEELS. And that is what this retrobike is all about. Feelings.

I am sure some people feel better riding a Honda or BMW for technical and/or performance reasons. But thats not why you ride a bike like this.

This is a looks old - works new maschine. We dont really need to know any more than that.

    Thks for posting .....

  • @cfodk Well said my friend... I hope to get a bonneville in about 2 years time with my first paycheck... Cant wait to feel that thrill...

  • @cfodk i ride a Suzuki TL1000s and its a beast,!!! but the bonneville is a barell of monkeys to ride, looks cool, sounds great and has laid back performance. a truly great machine.

  • the lost saying "if u have nothing nice to say, dont talk at all"

ps- cool bike, Triumphs have soul

  • I dont. care if this is not the most technically detalied review , there are others on the internet for that. I am saving up for one of these bikes and I can enjoy watching this easy going video every now and again while I am waiting for my bike. Beuatiful bike, nice guy, nice scenery and nice review.

  • Ok I'm sure this guy is a great guy, and we would probably be great drinking buddies, but who ever had the brilliant idea of having him review the bike could have at least told him those carbs were fake and that it's fuel injected.

  • exactly

  • i want a comfortable, good handling, reliable riding motorcycle. nice looking bike. one day i'll get one.

  • dual carburetors!...real deal!

    HAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

    IT RUNS ON EFI MAN!

  • That's really one of the cool things about the new efi models, you can't tell it apart from the carbed ones from a cursory glance. You get all the style of the classics without the inefficiency of carbs.

  • Nice review, Thanks!

  • Give the guy a break, he's in Madrid, NM; he's more than likely stoned most of the day.

He does know where to ride though. Northern New Mexico has some of the world's best bike country.

  • been there done that. the riding in northern new mexico part that is!

  • Great Chili festival so i hear," Wild Hogs "

  • LOL - artist and musician - better off reviewing guitars and paint brushes! Def NOT anything with two wheels and a engine.

  • ...

  • this review is pathetically executed and misinformed. the reviewer clearly knows nothing about the motorcycle and struggles to piece together anything that could be considered an informative or intelligent sentence about the motorcycle, or Triumphs in general. "always had two-tone paint" - wrong. and considering the clumsy nature of the turnaround at 2:22 this person does not possess the riding skill necessary to host or produce an informative review of any motorcycle.

  • Great video. But correction, it is fuel injected housed in what looks like carbeurators.
