well i thought that the film was great and i get called gay for liking it and im not a horsey person either although i think they are beatiful creatures. After reading some of the previous comments im suprised that they seem to think it isnt one of the greats because i felt that i really connected with the situation and storey as you could almost apply to most of lifes struggles.

In order to really rate this movie the experience of having to turn a troubled horse's soul back to life is needed. The truest part is that of Grace becoming reunited with Pilgrim. Its in the love between a girl and her horse. The musical score is outstanding but the story of the love between the horse and gril rate just as high.

The film was very enjoyable, and I agree with you about its themes, however I compared it to other horse movies and found that there were ones which were better, thus giving this film a 3/5.

I love this music. the movie is pretty good as well, not the best but it is certainly wortha a watch.
