  • It has been so long since I have heard this lady's lovely voice. Thank you.

  • thank you for this one

  • Wow, Lesley was a whole lot more than a girl sulking at her birthday party. It's a real surprise to hear her sing this old standard.

  • @rr7firefly1

I second that emotion! Ms Gore gives us a wonderful version here! Makes one wish she'd had tackled more jazz standards like this from 40's & 50's. THANKS for your comment! CHEERS! :-)

  • This is one of those meloncoly song from the thirties or forties by Anita o'day perhaps. Never heard it before and it's just one of those songs from this era that dosen;'t make any difference to me, even if it's covered by a Rock & roll artist that is no stranger to the doowop era. Anyway it was interesting enough to lend an ear too, but I still get off on the Glenn Miller Band! I enjoy tuning in the big band era from time to time but doowop and the r&r to follow is really my cup of tea. THX

  • 5 stars! The first of her recordings I've heard- so thanks!

  • Dang. I always thought Gore was a better singer than she received credit for, but this is outstanding --

  • This gal has this tune in her back pocket.

  • fantastic job

  • The lovely and talented Lesley Gore does her usual OUTSTANDING job here! Thank you SO much for posting this beautiful version of a true American classic song! :)
