HONESTLY PEOPLE, if you need to be talking on your cell phone and surfing the web you need to disconnect!!! To me it sounded like AT&T needed to find something (anything) quick to combat with the "Map for that" commercials....and like every other service that comes from AT&T, it flopped.

@SchweetDude As a former AT&T customer I miss the fact that I could talk and receive bbms in my blackberry or simply search for something to prove stupid ppl wrong while on the phone, when you dont have it you dont miss it, but once you are used to it you can't live without it! trust me, AT&Ts EDGE(2G) is the same speed as verizons 3G, if not look at the VZ 3G phones that AT&T has and notice they run on EDGE

I swear to god on everything I went to a verizon wireless store in my town and the MANAGER SAID THAT YOU CAN ONLY DO THAT ON WIFI. obviously u do not have a droid!!! i have a droid and i can be on a call and put it on speaker and pull up google maps and be getting driving directions while still connected on a call and no im not on wifi cause wen i do this im drivin on my car so obviously i cant be connected to wi-fi

The Marines use "Hooah" while everyone in the Navy and Corps knows for a fact, that during Navy SEAL Training (BUD/s) the SEAL candidates are required to use "Hooyah" as their method of morale. They are taught this by their UDT instructors who apparently learned it in their BUD/s class as well. Don't try to go and insult me or catch me in a misnomer because sir I can certainly prove these facts as true. Go watch any navy seal documentary.

All Android phones have the ability to make calls while browsing the web, even without wifi connection. As a matter of fact, Android has a better implimentation of this feature than iPhone.

iPhone, as of today, does not have true multitasking, only limited. While it can browse the web and make calls at the same time, it can't run other concurrent apps at the same time. The Android OS supports multitasking, allowing any number of apps to run concurrently. This includes calls and browsing.

While I would like to agree with you because I'm a Droid owner, you are wrong. It's not the Droids fault, or any Android phones fault. It depends what carrier the phone is on. While all Android phones can multitask, the CDMA network of Verizon, doesn't allow the Droid to be on a call and on the internet at the same time.

Um I am going to have to side with the guy in the video. I own the droid for verizon and I infact can be on a call, place that call on speaker, then back out of the phone menu and select "Browser" and type in any address I want using the keyboard on the phone and it works just fine!

Absolutely, I use the maps app and the browser all the time when I'm on the phone, if i'm asking someone for directions I just pull up my browser, google search the address, then select navigate. And if someone needs to know something like movie times or show times, I just go on google and search for those things.
