i agree with the simple part, however playing the normal chords with such distortion isnt as appealing as power chords. personally, i love the chords progression of this song.

I'm a huge BN fan, but this arrangement isn't very original. G Em C D (I know its a half step down, whatever that would be) is a pretty common progression. Its also the same as the guitar in the song "aeroplane over the sea" the chords are just played twice as long.
i never really said original...theres a million songs out there with this type of progression. they make it their own however with the vocals and the intro. its appealing to most i think.
it's not his fault though. i'm sure they're so tired when they're playing because they're constantly touring and stuff, so they can't give their best performance every time.
they get paid alot of money to deal with being tired and put on a good show. im a singer and if you can do it on an album, you should be able to do it live, it shouldn't be that big of a difference
