wow, ok, buddy. Ya, Reign in Blood and Ride the Lightning really sucked ass (in sarcastic voice), so did Seasons in the Abyss and Master of Puppets. Worst albums ever...seriously? Megadeth is good, maybe as good as the aforementioned bands, but there's no way you could just say which is better. It's a matter of taste. Slayer is brutaler, Megadeth is more heavy metalish, and Metallica is a mix of the two.

The thing about Megadeth in the 90's though is that they were still decent. Kick the Chair and Back in the Day from System were pretty thrash in my opinion. While 3/4 of the big four were at least producing metal music in the 90's metallica was off doing their own thing, being a precursor to Nickelback I guess.

It has a lot to do with me not liking Dave's style of playing, his "singing" and his ego spilling onto his songs. Imo hes a good player, he's just not much of a song writer, once again this is imo :)

@cliffjumper1984 the first album grows on you, it sounds so rugged like they recorded it in someone's garage and then put it on the shelves. the guitar isn't that great and megadeth's biggest weakness has always been its drumming so technically its not that great but songs like rattlehead and mechanix pretty much define the thrash genre
