As i have heard wires of the same sort used in electrical fences make good antennas.

if your trying to transmit to somthing 2 miles away, it would depend on the frequency of the transmitter & if you needed a license for that particular band. -KE7SFR (ham radio operator)

For reciever module I used RX433
and for transmitter TX433
