I tried to describe this opening to a friend and cracked up partway. It was just so...weird...usually, when you're fatally wounded in a simulation, you stop the simulation, am I right?

I can't help but wonder how Brainy has his arm blown apart, his head seperated from his body, his limbs sliced off, and he dies in the simulation from that laser thingy.

sort Legion was never that serious, but yeah some better writers would be better, the first episodes set up the 2nd season to be a serial with Superman-x learning to be a hero and fighting Imperiex... but it turns episodic and has the clone be in the Legion, without ever seeing it!

The Brainiac 5 in the comics was actually shown to be bisexual in issue 31 of the series simply called "The Legion." He and Invisible Kid had a little thing going on.

One would hope that, 1000 years in the future, people would have more freedom to love without being subjected to prejudice.
