  • i love this song! great job!

  • nice voice but this is NOT a song for a 12 year old to be singing. She can't possibly understand (and therefore cannot convey) the emotional context behind the song.

However, she is a wonderful emerging talent and I can see her going far!!

  • you go to my school :D

  • You're very talented!

    and I like your T-shirt : )

  • you watch a lot of musicals

  • your trting too hard to sound old....dont do that...but lots of potential

  • very mature voice for a 12 year old

  • very mature voice for a 12 year old

  • Why did I post... 2 different versions of this... At 2 different times...? Disregard that, haha.

  • O.O

    omfg you're 12 D:

    you are amazinggggggg

  • i was very suprised of th mturity of ur voice! great job!

  • I love the vibrato in your head voice. Keep building that part of your range- you have a lot of talent!

  • I think you're obviously a very taltented girl, but at the same time, I wish you'd picked a more age-appropriate song. There's no way any 12 year old- I'm not singling out you in particular- could understand the depth and complexity of emotion that is needed for this song. Definitely rerecord this a few years down the line though.

  • I think you have a beautiful voice and you're obviously very talented, and the range of this song is good for your voice... But at the same time, I feel like you're much too young to be singing it. There needs to be a depth and complexity to the emotions in the song that no 12 year old- I'm not trying to insult you personally- could reach. Try for more age-appropriate songs, and I'd love to see a remake of this one a few years down the line. :)

  • who are you carrotcait, simon cowel? lol

  • I think you're right though, Carrotcait. Try doing "I Want More" from Lestat. I think you'd do well.

  • good job but don't try to sound older.. it'll get ugly if the sound ends up in your throat!

  • Heyyy you're from Newport? Heckabomb! I live near an aspiring Broadway star!

  • it was ok but ppl overexagerate dont think ur gunna become famous it was ok but u need to work on ur facial expressions trust me i kno wut im talking about ;)

  • Hailey Has An Amazing Voice.

  • r u in voice lessons?

    ur so good!

  • okay this is amamzing this is alot better than the "No Good Deed" stick to non belting songs until you build up your breath support

  • she needs to work on making sure she's not trying to sound like an adult [for example, on the o's in the beginning]. the enunciation is great, but it sounds a little forced on a 12 year old...grown up in a little more of a negative way.

but it's a great performance, otherwise. I like the voice...good job on the performance.

  • Exalent she has the voice of an angel bravo keep em comin she is beautiful and her singin is just soo WOW!! ~!~Katie~!~

  • Wow i am her age..and she has a way better singin voice than me ...and she is gorgeous....u tel her to keep it up and that someone with a voice like that can become big!

  • this girl is amazing. i think i'm gonna cry. seriously.

  • amazing.

  • u have an incredible voice!

you have a God given talent

    u need to use it

get some professional voice lessons and take theater camps

do watever u can to get into the theater

u will be famous if u use ur talents

    good luck!

  • Wonderful voice. True, she's young and it shows in some notes, but - considering her age - her voice is powerful and can only grow. Her diction is great and she has just the right amount of vibrato.

Watch this space... one day we'll see her name in lights.... on Broadway!

  • this song is very good for her voice!

  • You sang that difficult song perfectly. You look like you could be Alyssa Milano's better looking sister. Except much younger of course.

  • u scare me a lttle bit.

  • You must be talking about the funny eye movements. She was interrupted several times while trying to film this song. During this particular time (about her 4th try), she saw some kids walking up to our doorstep, and thought they were going to ring the doorbell.

  • bravo!!!! a beautiful song perfectly matched her beautiful angelic voice. simply amazing. keep it up!keep singing!

  • She's Very Good! Your daughter I should think?

Wish her the best of luck xx

  • you're amazing

  • it sounds like she's had lessons, judging by her phrasing and natural dynamics. Also her vowel placement...sounds like a student. very very good start.

  • Thanks for your comment. She has been in choirs, but has never had private lessons. However, she will be starting them soon.

  • Hey Hailey! This is Jessie from your ward! I just wanted you to know this is really great! You can imagine my surprise coming across you on youtube (small world!) but I'm so glad I did! I love all the stuff of you on here! Keep it up!

  • shes proper gurd well amazing infact xx

  • I am her age too.

    I have one video.

She is much, much better than me.

And plus, she has nice eyebrows.

  • Beautiful voice. Keep up the good work.

  • Haiey! Whoo-hoo! you rock so much! I hope i can make it to your Little Mermaid performance!

    luvsya!

  • By lead role do you mean "Arielle"?

  • The musical is not the Disney version, but a similar storyline. Her role is equivalent to the role of Ariel.

  • that is awesome please record her singing parts in the plays so we can enjoy her also thanks again love it and keep up the good work

  • Very nice! You've improved a lot since your Popular video. Have you been in any shows? Keep singing!

  • Thanks! She will be performing the lead role in our community youth production of "The Little Mermaid," and will also be in "The Music Man" in November.

  • Oh, cool! I'm currently in Seussical the Musical and our opening night is this Friday.

  • Great! Good luck on your opening night...or should I say "Break a leg!"

  • She's doing "The Music Man"? Congrats! I was Marian in my community's workshop. "Break a leg". And congrats on "The Little Mermaid". I auditioned for Disney on Broadway. It was fun to audition with tons of other kids and teenagers. Good luck with those shows, and i hope to see you at an audition someday!
