  • cool

  • that's the messiest room i've ever seen

  • @gguillo Empty bags of chips are a fantastic way to hide caltrops.

  • Sweet! Aren't these Great? Man, 3 years since that came Out! The New version is hitting in Oct. I just wish they would throw the LED they use in the Intimidator XYZ in this Little Bastard!

  • please can i buy your movig head i cant find those awsome liht please sell me that like 50$ please

  • the creaking sound is your alto focus making small adjustments.

  • On next video do at night and fog

  • I already did, look under my videos on the second page.

  • hey can u hag this on a normal light sytand and if yea can u plz do a video on it

  • Hey Brian, yes, you can hang it from a normal light stand. Unfortunately, I lost my hanging bracket (It does come with one), and have been unable to replace it.

  • and were did u get yours

  • Is it dmx controlled ? I have 5lasers angel-laser of skytronic dmx controlled so they play perfect toghter

But nice light man i have had 10 of them i sold them al for a good price and of that money if buyed me an few led pars and smoke machine and mij new big light set

    But nice light Grz DJ-Ritchie

  • Yes, it can be DMX512 controlled. Has two modes, 5 channel and 13 channel.

  • is this sound to light? and how much is that light??

  • This light is capable of sound-activation, and usually sells for about $350, though you can get them cheaper on Ebay.

  • how called this light??

  • It's a Chauvet MinSpot. There's also a similar light called the MinWash, without the gobo wheel.

  • verry bad!!

  • the cracking is just the microphone that cannot handle the sound from your speakers

  • so.

  • esa luz es rara

  • Can you use it as USB as well? Via DMX Controller

  • The file is local. Its tiny tho so its easy to email. Dunno if you've played with freestyler... I liked it when it worked, (buggy with timelines and music sync) but DMXControl2.9 has me saying

"oh wow, i can do that?" over and over again. Timeline with music waveform zooms in 32 times. which is great for placing exact triggers in a song. Laser shot on a single 1/4 second high hat tap? No problem! :)

  • Could you possibly email that to me?

  • One of my 2 minspots creaks. I loosened the 2 nuts on the plastic cover on the left side of the yoke, thats where the most cracky-vibration was. It stopped. :) Using velleman v116 usb with DMXControl 2.9. Program rocks, was just updated too. If you need a fixture file for the minspot i made a nice one.

  • Do you have that fixture file on the internet? I run linux, so DMXControl doesn't work for me, but if it's that good, I might get Windows just to play with it some.

  • They come with a bracket that bolts on the bottom of the fixture. Then add a c-clamp (not included) to the bracket. I'll post a video of 4 minwashes mounted and running. Nice DMX ontroller btw.

  • I'm on the Chauvet StageDesigner 24 now, much better... only problem is it's limited to 24 channels, but hey... beats what I was using.

  • not to be mean. but i looked at your page and i didn't see that video. sorry if i'm sounding rude or annoying. but i really really want to see how they mount with a c clamp on a truss or something similar. thats the only thing i need to know before i am sure that i buy this

  • can you show how to mount this on a lighting truss. the manueal didn't help that much

  • How would you hang these? Cheeseboroughs or something else?

  • i love the chip background haha

  • Oh heck yeah. That's how you know the video is real.

  • How do you control them?

  • I have a DMX Controller - right now, I'm using a Chauvet Stage Designer 24, although I also have a Enttec OpenUSB dongle so I can control my lights with my computer.

  • Without DMX, how is the sound-to-light Action?? I also know there is a hand controller, gonna look into it also--

Any ideas about the Sound to light / Microphone??

  • The sound to light programs are fairly good, though they do get rather repetitive if you're using them with anything fast. generally speaking though, they're fairly good lights.

  • tis making abit of a weird noise or is that just the audio!?

as i think these lights look realli cheap almost like there gunna full appart when touched!

I brought a minimac profile the other day and its so good!

  • i think its to much bass for the microphone

  • wow dude, how much for??

  • They go for about $350 on ebay

  • expensive, there are anotherones like this but without gobos?

  • Yeah, it's called the MinWash

I might get one of those :P

  • How bright is this Moving Head?

Give me something to compar with.

  • I'd say it's about as bright as a 250watt bulb, like the Chauvet Intimidator 1.0... but considering it uses a single LED, and the price of the unit, that's not bad at all... you could get 4 of these for the price of a used Martin MAC250

  • Okey! I know a vendor here in Sweden that sales Chauvet lights. This Moving head cost 4620:- SEK in Sweden, 727.85:- USD. Thats REALY cheaply! =D

  • That's odd, I only paid USD 350 for the Min Spot...

  • The give me some adreses where i can buy this light! =D

  • Check Ebay, they're going for about $320-$450 on there right now :D

  • Okey! Thanks! =D

  • I think the creaking sound is your camcorder iris reducing the light intake when the fixture hits it directly. Is this fixture bright enough? Novelty or useful 4 gigs?

  • It'd be fine for a small gig... It's aimed at DJs I think, judging by the price... they go for about $350 on Ebay. It's supposedly as bright as a 250watt bulb... Honestly, I'd buy more if I was doing a small show, but for anything more, you would need a brighter light.

  • come on alex, only 30 watt? i got a new reviever unit for the sterio. yamaha 5.1 surround sound blah blah... doesn't kick like the pioneer but at least both left and right side work. bob's suposed to be helping me fix the pioneer sometime soon.

  • oh come on, it's a back up until I can get a 700 watt power amp for my PA speakers.

  • alex, 700 watts is a bit much. what brand amp?

  • I dunno yet. Haven't decided. I just got a good deal on a pair of 700 watt speakers...

  • thw crackling noise is most definetly the bass...

  • Yeah, I should have turned down the bass on my speakers first... sad thing is, it's only a 30 watt sub...
