  • I don't understand how you get way better framerates than I do at the same resolution. With 0x AA I average 35 fps and with 8x I get around 14-15fps.

  • MIDLIFE CRYSIS!!!!!!!!!

  • And this is the game everyone says has the best graphics around.....wow...just wow.

  • @tyrusthevirus1996 he's playing at a low resolution though. so its not really showing off the game that well

  • you can easily play crisis at 1920x1080 with ultra-high settings with this graphics card

  • Awesome man. I currently have a Palit GTX460 sonic, pretty shit for cooling though, ASUS is my next bet. Does your card have the copper heat pipes? Is is that on more expensive versions?..

  • playing at 1280x1024 in very high is no achievement

play at 1920x1080 in very high to see crysis in its true glory

  • @ssorangetomato I play on that, and on 8x AA :) Using HD 5770 1gb

  • after 3 years i still keep going back to crysis

  • Nice video, running very smooth. I love crysis games, but i can't stand to play the game with the normal settings, i have to download some visual cfg to make the game look better.

  • i can hardly belive it was 3 year since it came out i rmember playing it when it came out good times

  • Hey dude, do you think I should get the GTX460 and a newer processor of some sort if I have this: AMD Phenom x4 1.8GHz | 9800GT 1GB | do you think I'll notice a pretty big difference in gameplay if I get the GTX460? Cause I can barley play crysis on max with no AA and 1280x1024 :(

  • @IBlackPlague i have the same thing and you will get 35-40 fps with no AA or AF. Possibly lower fps also. Im getting a i5 and 5970 :) much better. 50 fps here i come :D

  • @LMAOTutorials

Thats not true, i get 35-50fps in 1280x1024, 8x aa, very high.. But maybe you want be to record my screen irl? I can borrow my brothers digital camera, nemas problemas..

You know 5970 is a dual card, just as 4870 X2..

  • @pontusjannesson sure thatd be great since no one ever records in real life which makes everyone specptical about everything.

  • @LMAOTutorials

Yeah sure, i'll ask my brother tomorrow, because he is not home right now.. And we'll see who is lying... And i dont get 50fps all the time for sure, but thats the max fps i got while playing...

And you know even the GTX460 768 beats 5830 by 4x better frames in dx11 and tesselation... ATi are good, but too much buggy drivers etc...

  • @pontusjannesson yes ive heard about that, but i just want proof that one of these things gets 40 frames all the time. plus i have a bad screen resolution so scaling should add like 10 fps to me. thanks bro. looking for ward to it, subscribed :)

  • @LMAOTutorials

This may sound ridicilous, but my brother moved today, because he is 25 years old and just found an apartment, ill try catching him to borrow the camera as fast as i can... Well in this Gameplay the fps where 35-50, but in some heavier parts there will be different ofcourse...

    Thanks for sub!

  • @pontusjannesson np, and how low did it go? like 25? im fine with that especially since i know that my scaling will give me alot, along with me using dx9(since i notice no difference)

  • @LMAOTutorials

    Lowest were 31fps

  • @pontusjannesson DAMN thats good! and what i meant was i have an i5 @ 4.2 GHz.. Your processor is better thus letting you have higher framerates :\

  • @LMAOTutorials

No, i5 is a bit better, but there can be other things too, maybe you have to high oc, or bad ram/mobo...

  • @pontusjannesson idk, the comp actually just left, my friend came and picked it up and im on my old 9800gt machine xD. I want to buy his rig but it ran like shit. Idk what he did to it. But, id like to see a REAL footage of 40 frames on a computer with GTX460. If someone can prove that to me, then id pay them...if i had money. :)

  • @LMAOTutorials

    Sure mate, but keep patient:))

  • @pontusjannesson i will :D im planning on getting it in 2 weeks. and if not convinced then ill wait it out for a 5970 and an i7 :D around xmas time or maybe mid year next year when the 6000 comes out.

  • @LMAOTutorials

Great, but keep the i5, no way to upgrade that now:) Its very good.. Btw, how old r u?

  • @LMAOTutorials whats the screen resolution btw? in your video.

  • @LMAOTutorials

1280x1024, i showed it in the video:)

  • @pontusjannesson o yeh huh? sorry. alright well i await the video :) ty for your time :D

  • @pontusjannesson AHHH and i just noticed i have an i5 750 at 4.2 GHz....thatll lower my fps cuz ur processor is better huh?

  • @LMAOTutorials

    What do you mean?

  • @LMAOTutorials Hey, so if I get a AMD Phenom II x4 970 3.5Ghz, and maybe a GTX460, do you think that i'll notice a difference from my current AMD Phenom x4 1.8Ghz and 9800gt?

  • @IBlackPlague Not much of a noticeable performance since they are both quads, (I'm intel but x4 = quad right?) so Id say you would receive like a 30% increase in performance. I'm guessing based on my knowledge of AMD.

  • @LMAOTutorials Well, I MIGHT get a GTX460, so if I don't, do you think I'll still get better performance from the 970 3.5Ghz then my phenom I x4 1.8ghz, and from what I've heard, phenom II's are like 2x better then phenom I's (which is what I have) and that one's 3.5ghz, so I hope I'll get better performance, if not, I'll save up for a GTX460

  • @IBlackPlague Yes it will help in performance, but in games like Crysis here, depends of graphics card. Goin from 1.8 to 3.5 is a big jump, so there will be better performance.

  • @LMAOTutorials Okay, and even if I don't get much performance, which I don't doubt, at least I'll be able to render videos faster :)

  • @IBlackPlague O i didnt notice u said GTX460. HELL yes ull have amazing performance. Max out any game on any resolution. I thought u meant a 9800gt.

  • @IBlackPlague

    Yes, get the GTX460.

  • @pontusjannesson Okay, thanks! =)

  • looks great

  • 35-50 fps 1280x1024 AAx8? wow... im going to save money for this card

  • @sonofgrayfox

    Good investment:))

  • Wow thats a lot of FPS!

  • @nobodypersonsomeone

    Indeed:)

  • do you get lag on 16x or 32x AA

  • @mbsfaridi

    Haven't triedD:

  • @mbsfaridi I got 30 fps on 16x with the 1024mb version

  • HOLY SHIT....nice dude =D

  • @Sbrff

    Thank you very much:))

  • Looks like a 5770 on steroids xD

  • @xMonst3rGaming

    or 5830:D:D

  • 1:52 im balbasaur! :D

  • runs so good man, nice vid

  • @GameKiller346

    Yeah, thanks:)

  • Pontus, great vid, looks really good :)

  • @MarcoHDGam3r
