Legia, with all the respect,Pendollino is an italian and Siemens is a german loco, not polish,so it's hard to compare.First romanian loco cross over 200km/h in 1970 years, and it's the same loco from the video. The romanian speed record is 226km/h with a romanian loco,so the news you've just watched is builshits, you understand that? It's like i'm saying you have the highways but we have the cars.
@MrSandokany It doesn't matter whose the train. The most important is to have a railway able to carry these speeds. We have one able to carry 250 km/h (Warszawa-Kraków/Katowice).

Legia,CMK,is not a high speed line, check the high speed railways map of the Europe, and the trains run up to 160km/h on this line, not even 200km/hYou must first upgrade the line and change the signaling sistem and then we will talk about this!Meanwhile, our Bucharest-Constanta 225km construction work is almost done, and the maximum speed will be 200km/h.
@MrSandokany CMK is a high speed line- signal system upgrade is now U/C. 200 km/h are available on Warszawa-Poznań (with tilt train)and many sections of Warszawa-Gdańsk (80 % of the track will be available for 200 km/h per Euro 2012). Well, if you want to prove that romanian railways are good, stop it, cause they aren't. The same like polish. We have one real high-speed section, some fast sections, but generally railway system in Poland and Romania are shitty.
I started to add comments becouse i get the feeling that your comment was from a higher level.About CMK, all can i say is that you said that you allready have line able to carry 250km/h ,that isn't quite true,as long as no train went as faster in 30 years of exsting line and 160km/h was the best here!250km/h was maximum designed speed of the CMK and not the maximum speed of trains! Finally,i 'm totally agree with you about romanian railways and hope to live better days and good luck for you too
In 1994 pendolino train has achieved 250 km/h on CMK, in August 2009 Siemens Taurus achieved 235 km/h. When we will finish new signal system, tradional trains will reach 200 km/h, tilt trains 250 km/h. The railway is able, we just need to upgrade the system. That's about CMK. Yeah, both countries need to develop still a lot under this point of view, no doubt
@MrSandokany On CMK traditional trains are going 160 km/h. After new signals system, even a traditioanl train (Siemens "Husarz") will go beyond 200 km/ h (235). Pendolino train will achieve 250 km/h
this is not the real record the real was 215 in 1989 :D this locos have 5100 kw she haves 7000 CP also Electroputere has made also the new Version LE 6600 KW :D also very powerfoul
