  • He looks like a nice friend chef, but in reality he's an asshole racking up their bill.

  • It's disgusting how much food they are wasting...i find it horrific

  • strict gun laws? is that what will keep canadians from rushing down here to kill us? gun laws only take away good people's rights to defend themselves.. criminals dont give a shit about gun laws.. ban guns totally, only criminals will have them

  • i have a friend who goes to McGill and she is a vegan, after watching this i wonder how she eats

  • how was he alive after all that food

  • ..."Just start him on the foie gras menu & just keep feeding him until he dies!" Hilarious! What an amazingly rich & heavy meal that was.

  • La banquise... best place in Montreal for Poutine i do agree

  • I went to Montreal JUST to eat at Au Pied. Freaking incredible! The wine list reads like porn too. Met Mr. Picard he is the coolest and nicest guy and my picture with him is on my facebook profile

  • @MYacono you came just to eat at one restaurant???

  • @danfagen yes, everything else was just added bonus, Biosphere, botanical garden, marche jean talon, the plateau, old montreal.. We had a great time and probably going back Easter

  • That guy who said he is so baked has 62 thumbs up haha - I have a date with a Law student on Thurs. I think I should get her bakes- but this clip- The Chef - KILLED him! If you had one shot to be on the travel channel how would you handle it!? This guy took out all the stops and showed him so much over kill. I hope his spot stays open for 50 years! ? Kings to you Sir

  • death by foie gras... hmmm.. not a bad way to go.

  • guess he now knows what it feels to be a fois gras duck

  • Vivé Picard! They could have done an entire episode just on him and I'd watch it.

  • Fuck Ashton, vive la banquise, La meilleure poutine au Québec.

  • duck genocide...

  • No Schwartz = EPIC FAIL

  • Artery-clogging goodness!

  • SHIIIIIITTT!!! Poor guy looks like he will explode loooool xDDD

  • I think I just gained 10 lbs watching Anthony eat! :)

He's got the best job...traveling, eating and drinking. I want his job!

  • I love Poutines. Trouble is, my American mother made it looong before anyone where I live realised it was a Quebecois speciality!

  • Wow ... portions are damn teeny! :(

  • Now he knows how those ducks feel when they are forced fed.

  • I love foie gras, but this is a bit gluttonous, it's a bit over the top. He totally could have given him all of those dishes in a smaller portion. He got like 15 main course sizes.

  • @landis69 -- I agree. Thomas Keller is right about the law of diminishing returns--you enjoy something most in the first few bites, then it's downhill from there. If Bourdain had had the same items, but in small-plate form, it probably would have been much more pleasant to eat...and watch.

  • i feel bad for the camera guy

  • great place in the day to day way: smoke poutinerie

  • How he eat let me think this is like a more classy version of Man VS. Food

don't get me wrong I'm a fan of both shows

  • I want a chef to do that to me

  • Lol god. I think it's going to stop, and then it just doesn't. Even just one of those later dishes is enough to feed a party of 10.

  • Damn if my crew went to that restaurant HIGH we would finish all the plates! But that shit looks fucking EXPENSIVE how much do you think all those dishes of duck cost? At least 500 bucks worth? Shit....looks like my cheap ass is stuck with Chinese Duck at my local Winnipeg chinese restaurant....! Rich ass fuckin Quebec white people!

  • @fernandoiscrazy a foie gras costs around 45-60$ each, 15 dishes he hate, probably around 500-600 like you said lol, pig heads must skyrocket @ around 100$ for both

  • wow Im getting stuffed just watching this..

  • i think the plan of the chef was to forcefeed him and use his liver in a meal like they do to the ducks

  • Comment removed

  • just watching how much he was eating makes me sick...

  • home defense? lol, you must be kidding me, we're not allowed to defend ourselves here in Canada, that's a fact, all we're allowed to do is yell "get out", call 911 and get away, hopefully. as soon as firearms are involved, the person defending their home gets charged worse then the guy robbing the place, seriously, it's just as bad here as in Britain.

self defense is a taboo here.

  • @flamedrag18 whi cares, the show is about food, what do you trawl you tube looking for stuff to comment on because you think you have something intelligent to say, you don't!

  • @churchill1945 it's the truth, that's why I said it here, in the episode they're selling home defense firearms that you seriously can't use, we Canadians have no rights compared to Americans, at least you have some sort of freedom, our government can implement the "War Measures Act" that gives the government the power to do absolutely anything it wants, including imprisoning people without trial and due process, enacting laws without any form of approval from the house of commons, etc.

  • @flamedrag18 Which is exactly what they did in October 1970.

  • @Mujangga well, kinda, the october crisis is a legit use of it, think of it, Quebec is a part of Canada, it would split Canada in half, leaving Quebec with the ability to close the St. Lawrence seaway and really hurt Canada's economy, the Prime Minister had good reason to implement since it went against the greater good for all Canadians and the attack on the two politicians. even many people in Quebec agreed that the LFQ took things too far and wanted the war measures act activated.

  • @Mujangga get over it

  • @churchill1945 continued.... we have nothing to stop them, since Canada is at war in Afghanistan, they could implement it tomorrow and force all citizens to do whatever the government wants them to do, that's just too much power

  • @flamedrag18 Huh? You've read the charter right? Probably not. The WMA has been used three times. I'm going to go with this is a G20 issue... was your street broken to bits? Mine was. I am a proud Canadian and proud to have some Canadien as well. This by the way is why we are so proud to not be Yankees. I know this is shocking, but we in no way want to be associated with the place to the south of us. It's a long argument, but this is why the whole American 'manifest destiny' failed.

  • @parkie101010 J'aimerais mieux être un Américain qu'un Canadien n'importe quand!

  • all ducks are going to die anyway

  • quebeckers generosity boundless pig-nece-city

  • And then, Anthony's liver exploded!

I live in Quebec City and don't eat Foie gras, but the Cassoulet and pork look awesome. There's some darn good food here, and I've learned of some nice techniques and ingredients (J'aime les herbes salées dans la soupe, par example).

  • ive eaten at that poutine place, its the best.

  • Yuck.

  • I'm going to Quebec this summer. Gonna hit up that restaurant for sure!

  • think they threw enough food at him?

  • argh fois gras hot dog! I can feel my arteries clogging...but in a good way....lol luvin this! awesomeness....:) lard, stuffed with fois gras...giblets....oh my freaking god! lol ooohhhhh poutine!

  • Quebec IS Canadian food...most canadian cuisine originates from here...

Toronto has NO original food dishes..;)

  • and yet we are still destroying your culture

  • I'm from the USA dummy....just stating that Toronto is a copycat city without any soul....Montreal is a way better city.

  • @blairzel go kill yourself you stupid american. you know nothing about toronto and its heritage

  • I totally have to check out this whole duck idea. Never had that before...That's why I love this show, always giving awesome information for food :D

  • I would take Tony's place anytime!

  • God Bless the rest of the world, they know what eating really is!

  • that was a bit gross how much food they fed him. No way I could have even eaten 1/8 of that..

  • Its normal to give taster menus to chefs like that in most fine dining establishments. Sure, they are usually miniature versions of the original dish but I guess you are unaware that he wasn't just eating by himself. His crew were sampling the dishes too.

  • Very true, but that is nowhere near a tasting menu. He got like 10 main courses , if not more. Granted it is television but that is still a shitload of food. I've seen every bourdain episode and nothing he ever gets comes close to this. Just my opinion, but the ammount of food they gave Tony was a bit excessive, they could have easily cut the portions down a bit.

  • OMFG!!! My arteries were hardening just watching him eat all that!!!! My love for duck just went through the roof...LOL

  • I blame the side of pasta. Must be the number 1 cause of his red face.

  • I like too eat as much as the next person but I would've passed out after eating that much food and I get the feeling my stomach wouldn't let me forget how much I ate either

  • he is really red! i thought he was going to pass out! i wonder how much he poooss???

  • Heart Attack.

  • I think he said on Letterman that this was only one of two times he got sick after a shoot.

  • the time in france he got a bad mussel

  • my heart is slowing down just looking at all that food.... i can actually feel my arteries clog...

  • this man has a tapeworm, he must have

  • What! Guns at a kitchen store in Quebec! Jesus, Ontario is soft.

  • If I was him, i would go to the washroom and puke than eat more. xD

  • Kitchenware and firearms.

  • Trap shooting is good times.

  • Jesus i am so fuckin baked.

  • I live in Northeast Tennessee and there's a vacuum/gun store down the road from my house.

  • Oh, Gordon Bennett, how can he eat all that and not vomit or burst? The man's superhuman! Personally, I'd stick to the poutine au foie gras.

  • i wanna eat at that duck restaurant, id fuck that shit up no lie...im high as fuck right now, let me be there....

  • Montreal on your 18th birthday is the place to be my friends

  • picard the best chef in canada or foie gras the best product . pretty sure if i cook everything with foie it will be good .

  • Ahhh...

A parade of the most delicious, artery clogging, decadent, ethically controversial foods available anywhere.

    I'm going to Montreal!!!

  • is it me or does youtube sucks now? It takes forever to download the video, and sometimes it stops downloading like those cheap chinese flash players...

  • Anthony has the best job ever. EVER!

  • a meal that i have longed to eat many times in my life... everytime i'm hungry, i seem to think of this meal

  • he looks like he's gonna pass out

  • I bet that meal was like over 800 bucks!:D wow...ive nevere even had foie before

  • Nah, I've had foie gras. It's not that expensive, if you cook it yourself!

  • "why are you not drinking?"

the chef's REALLY trying to kill bourdain!!

    lol... love him though....

  • Man next time I go to Montreal I should try those restaurants... look real good

  • Wow everything looks SOOO good... but man that's way too much for one person

  • If I were to have one of those last meals in prison, that would be it.

  • yeah kill yourself with eating too much :P

    that joint looked very good

  • maybe he just had a bite of everything and gave it to the camera crews

  • hahahahaha "come here Porkie"...hahaha Bourdain is great

  • My favourite food author mixed with my favourite restaurant...absolutely sublime!!!

Picard is a genius and Bourdain a legend.

  • Indeed, Martin wants Anthony to die eating foie gras! lol

  • man, tony has tapeworm, how else he could eat this much...mon Dieu
