  • Miss South Africa so much!!! 2 years was not enough!

  • 7guys are police, let's kill them!

  • zola this is from ANGOLA BRAZ i love this nice track

  • Woke up with this song in my minds love it

  • Fuck i love this song man, and this artist... Love from Papua New Guinea brother!!!!

  • love the music! i was totally dancing in the theatre when i saw the film (at uni)

  • uhlala waz eyamadoda ay'pheli

  • love this song so much.............and i love Dance Black style

  • i have no idea what he is saying but i love it!

  • Zola is cool beacause he keeps it African and dont rap like an American.

  • if someone can translate this song for me in english it would be amazing! thanks.

  • Soweto is hard, you survive there, you can survive any where, umkhonto we sizwe

  • @b0oTLeG Stop lying, soweto is nathing compared to Temisa, you die while people are watching and you live while they are not. Soweto is a city, no more a township!

  • @b0oTLeG amandla comrade...

  • some american rappers always pretend they're gangster, these are REAL gangsters! drop you on sight

  • @ThebeM9 Actually Zola is not a gangster, He WAS a small time car theiving thug as a teenager but not a gangster. You should know what a REAL gangster is. And its not these South African kids I tell you that now

  • one thing i envy about south africans apart from the fact that their babes are so hot freaking hot is the fact they know how to dance men...i love their dance moves

  • damn we miss this

  • This song is one of my favoritez. And Tsotsi also, one of the best movies ever ! Greetings from Slovakia

  • Great movie.

The ending where TSOTSI(David) dies, is very bittersweet.

Look at his face, a look of redemption and relief.

Seems like he found a place of peace, from a life which had heretofor; Known only anger and pain.

    Great Song as well.

I think the title translates to "Problem Child," which in SoWeTo has a bleaker meaning than the AC/DC song, or Amero-Euro usage.

The AC/DC song was a very good one, but, not in Zola's league.

  • i must say this is a classic

  • zo khafulela

  • Akon ! a south African version ....

  • @badru1000 this sounds nothing like Akon...

  • @dunti21 zola beats his girlfreand like crap

  • @badru1000 Fail. Akon is South African. 2nd - Zola doesn't sound shit like Akon. 3rd. Just because he's tall and dark doesn't make him an Akon.

  • Comment removed

  • @Lazurline wrong, akon is from senagal,

  • The movie was the second most personal and easy to connect to movie I've watched after the Godfather. Very good movie although I did rather prefer the ending where Tsotsi dies. It was more sad (just my opinion).

  • faizan

  • the movie tsotsi was kind of fake, the characters were completely off, the clothes the style everything, and way too brief... but jerusalema that was amazing thumbs up if you agree

  • great music! hip hop with a real meaning

  • @jthouse51 it's Kwaito

  • tsotsi- einfach toll... : o)

  • @ArtLOVEsU why?

  • @ArtLOVEsU I'm sure that is what you were looking for.

  • back in d day wen kwaito used to kwaito. Salute Mzolisto

  • fuck my decency

  • the end of this movie sad :(

  • zola ..........this is nice stuf

  • qham thushu kulo yomnyama saseyibo labafana baseZola Iangchaza le part

  • amazing movie: amazing story, amazing music.. just amazing :D

  • s'good!

  • awesome song!

  • lol

    I lived through this..

sh*t was tough... but finally moved out.

    now everything is AWWWWRIGHT

  • I saw this movie in english, ´cause we have the topic South Africa. Really great movie and songs. Thanks

  • I love this movie I got it on dvd. Jo'Burg is a scary place, I've been around the airport but not in the city I've been told it's very unsafe. Even around the airport & the hotel I felt unsafe. All the ppl I know who lived in Jo'Burg have either seen ppl getting pointed at gunpoint or been pointed at gunpoint.

  • @oh2dawhat JHB is as scary as you make it to be. You are one of those people (and those who told you such stories) who drive themselves crazy with horror stories, although not experiencing any. How "effed" up can one be? I'm abroad now but have lived there for 30 years of my life. And I can tell you that nothing, NOTHING, ever happened to me, my family, friends circle, etc. Stop driving yourself crazy with things you've never experienced but only "heard"!!!

  • @LevonaDiedrich @LevonaDiedrich Um I've experienced some scary stuff too & I was traumatised, & believe me, if I was alone in the city something would have happened to me. The stories I heard from so many friends were real and true...I do know someone who lived there too & had the big security gates & when my cousin stayed there they got car stolen & broken into over 11 times!!!

  • @LevonaDiedrich but my work friend didn't go through anything bad...it's all luck I guess...but if u tell me it's a safe place to live, I won't believe u sorry...u r just "lucky" so stay safe :)

  • @LevonaDiedrich people who have had experiences exaggerate a bit or put excess emotion

i lived in JHB all my life and have about a page of incidents. if you live in the good parts nothing will happen it all about the wrong place at the wrong time

  • Does anyone know the name of the song previous to the moment in which Tsotsi visits his old house?

It ends with a shotgun reload song.

  • @42KaKa its called Zingu 7

  • @RSAinUK TYVM!

  • Zola7,U are the man!

  • Kasi style....jus de way we do it n like....ayoba

  • where can i get the movie - and does it exist with german subtiteles?

  • @kuranyilispelt yes it dose i bort the movie also in germany at mediamarkt it is also in german translaited to you can even find it in the videothek

  • anybody knows what he's rapping about?

  • @kuranyilispelt Street life

  • Tsotsi is such an awesome film...love it...

saw it in english class this year...

language is a mixture: afrikaans, xhosa, Zulu and Tsotsi-Taal (south african gangster language)

    5*

  • @Fabi14lol shit, so as im learning only zulu, i ll never understand everything? Want to learn xhosa as well....love those languages, they rock as the music, harmonies and SA gospel.it s the best!

  • awesome soundtrack

  • love that movie and soundtrack!

  • CAN SOMEONE PLEASE TRANSLATE THE LYRICS FOR ME much appreciated

  • You don't need the translations! the expression is enough!

  • I do agree BUT I also am trying to learn about the language. Language is not so important in music, but I want to know because it is just easier for me to pick up tools from a language through the use of music. If you could help I would appreciate that. But if not, then that is fine too. I am still very happy just listening to this piece. It is very enjoyable. Maybe even more meaningful if the actual literal meaning is hidden from me... Thanks for your comment.

  • i love Tsotsi, and this song is amazing!

  • loved the film sooo much and the soundtrack is f***in class

  • I love Tsotsi as well!

And the music is just... awesome.

  • absolute masterpiece tsotsi...

  • TOTALLY LOOOVE THE MOVIE!...cried @ the alternate ending lol...i'm such a cornball sometimes!

  • It was a better ending if he had died.

  • i agree. at least tsotsi died with his humanity. when he died he died at the highest point in his life, there was nothing he could have done later in his life. my opinion anyway.

  • yeah, people haven't read the book if they don't think it's better that he died. Even the movie's alternate ending was better. Wish they had left it in.

  • i love kwaaito

  • I watched TSOTSI today!!

the movie was so nice. and i am very interested in song of ZOLA !!!!! It's soo cooool !!!

  • dieses lied ist soo toll!! : o)

es erinnert mich auch immer an einen menschen der mir viel bedeutet. ich finde dir geschichte von tsotsi so.. mitreißend.

    einfach klasse!

  • tsosti was AMAZING!

  • is this afrikaans? what language is this?

  • its Tsotsitaal dude, a mixed language of english, afrikaans zulu and many african languages

  • Tsotsi is the best movie i have ever seen !!

  • someone translate? which country?

  • this is South African music ,its our kind of rap

  • nice song the movie is best

  • 250 000 albums of umdlwembe have been sold todate.

  • Fuck!!! @ home thats multi platinum

  • yeah u right .thatś a lot of money too.but i think those white owned record labels steal some of their money lolz

  • i suspect so + Zola is going through some label problems as we speak

  • that's why it is good to start your own label like mdu or go to labels like ts which ur managed by black ppl.

  • enhlek where is Mdu 'cause he has been quiet for a while now. so do you think Sbu has his artists best interests at heart?

  • mdu is retired i think he now bringing new artiste and also production work and sbu is good he makes kwaito artiste big at least he does not cheat them into singing dubious contracts like other labels those ur real kasi pple

  • sorry but what does mdlwembe mean? i'd also like a transation of the song if anyone has the time or the patience!

  • street life

  • mdlwembe is dogs or thugs.its about thugs tryna jack him in his hood.he's from the hood so he's clued up.

  • cheers man!

  • africanos.

  • listen to his song "don't cry". maybe you won't like it but i think it's awesome!

  • Ryan. He is singing about thug life and how tough life is in the ghetto in Soweto leaving thug style and all the widows left behind

  • cheers, i knew it was something along those lines from tsotsi. awesome film. and literally one of the best soundtracks ever combiled

  • Awesome movie, cool song

  • does anyone know wat he's actually saying?

  • How sad am i .....

  • Sikelim hepsini hepsini sikelim!

  • How can i get these songs?? I cant find them on limewire yo

  • Nahh downloading`s easier. Besides i dont got the money to spend on pointless things i can just download online for free. ;P

  • though this guy seems like a total retard he's not the one that is ruining the music business. it's the people that make those songs/films available for free.

If you can't download it for free you have to buy it.

  • LOL actually im a girl...but whatever you`re a fag anyways its a free country im just voicing my opinion kay stfu no one cares ;P
