  • I personally think that the island symbolizes God, Jacob symbolizes Jesus, Richard and the other cast are the disciples and apostles, sorta but mostly Richard. I also personally the Others are like the followers, but who M.I.B symbolizes is a lot less simple. Judas? No, not even close. He's not the Devil tho, he doesn't have militant intentions. He's just a guy who wants to know the truth and get off the island wich he is believing is a lie. He's an innocent guy really, especially as a kid :)

  • @PurpleCow0567 uuugh v.v I meant a lot MORE simple :\ sorry, typo.

  • why the smoke is using lock's body???

  • Why in the LAX episode the island was in the bottom of the ocean??

  • that jacob guy is HOT

  • anyone ever think while watching this show that the island was the plug for pandoras box?

  • i see all my Episodes TV[.]UsNetxxx[.]com

  • This, was my favortie, episode, I loved his acting, and this story was perfect!

  • Through the Looking Glass FTW!

  • If Jacob brought the dahrma people to the island, and richard is Jacob's "assistant", does this mean Jacob had the Dahrma people killed? hmmm

  • Tricia Tanaka Is Dead is my favorite episode because it was the first episode of LOST I ever saw... yeah didn't understand a single thing that went on during the episode but at the end it made me feel good...

  • This is one of the best episodes, for me at least. Good review.

  • it should end with nikki and paulo as jacob and the man in black.

  • pilot part 2 and dead is dead

  • This show looks AWESOME! Is it new?

  • @JfnDWatchesVids No its over forever sorry it was a really good show the best 6 years of my life

  • Rushed or not, the recap was great :) Thanks!

  • Jacob is the Devil

  • question... if the island is sunk in the flash-sideways universe, does that mean Richard is dead? perhaps he never left the canary islands and died as a lonely widow because there would have been no Black Rock?

  • @yanichko darma project still happed so he could be in our time if he got off the island before the bomb went off

  • My favorite episode is...Everybody hates Hugo... I can't wait for next week's Everybody loves Hugo! :))

  • i reckon my favourite episode was 'Numbers.' really started off the whole spooky philosophical aspects of lost!

  • My favorite episode is Ab Aeterno just 'cause I like the fiery version of Jacob instead of that calm version we always see. Hope to see more of that. I love your video reviews. Great job!

  • i love the way the mib says "well i'll kill them too" it was kinda funny and he seems immature

  • i love the way the mib says "well i'll kill them too" it was kinda funny and he seems immature

  • my favorite episode...

The one where Lock teachs charlie... with the example of the moth [LOVE IT]

  • My favorite episode has to be ji yeon. It was a masterpiece.

  • My favorite episode has to be ji yeon. It was just a masterpiece.

  • My Dave has to be sundown. Beautifully episode

  • Favorite Episode has to be Greatest Hits.

Sad and a tearful episode. Last time anybody sees Charlie alive, except for Desmond.

And the list to Charlie is so emotional and sad, in a way.

And he leaves the DS ring, and gives it to Aaron. Also very sad for Claire and Hurley. Charlie's girlfriend and best friend doesn't realise that Charlie is going to die. <3

    Best episode ever!

  • I am not sure but in the 6:54 min the wine is little than the wine in the 7:03

is it me or something else and I dont know if that means something at all

btw thank you for coming back ( I did not see you for while)

  • our mutual friend

  • i just noticed watching episode 6 of season 6 that when smokey flies over the pit where Kate is dangling you can see sme kind of image that briefly flashes within smokey as he passes over .

Can anyone confirm or has this been discussed?

  • My favourite episodes so far are "I Do", "What Kate Did", "Through the Looking-Glass" and "Sundown".

  • there's a story where 2 people are asked by the devil if they want ETERNAL life... the man said no and the woman disagreed, but the man explained if that happened they'd have to be seperated... hhmmmm

  • my favorite episodes are the constant and flashes before your eyes, both fantastic desmond episodes!!

  • The constant.. Des

  • The mystery photo is LOCKE'S NEW HAIR TRANSPLANTS! No?

    Phooey.

Smokie is the evil of the world locked on the island with Jacob as jailer companion. Jacob got the job because he is flawed also, but can leave the island only to further the job of Smokey's eternal incarceration. The island has dynamic qualities because those qualities are necessary to help Jacob keep Smokey.

What set this in motion? The FORCE? BTSOOM.

    My fav episode--the pilot.

I still count to 5 if I'm scared.

  • i like how they use "evil" and "goodness" instead of god or devil or other stuff like that

  • Favorite episode: the constant

  • That last scene with Richard and Isabella was the most beautiful moment of LOST/ Cinematography I have ever seen! Excellent piece if filming, and editing!

  • hahaha dont we all remember when LOST was just a simle show about a plane crash and wondering how they would survive ...now its FUCKING MIND BLOWING!

  • The constant is AMAZING

  • what happened to vincint?

  • my fav episode is THE CONSTANT. It shows romance , science and time travel all at the same time.

  • Have you ever touched on the fact that the season 3 DVD box says "JACOB LOVES YOU"in handwriting?

  • great job

  • hey man great job on the recaps....I noticed though you showed the wrong tree at 4:55, it should be the younger version of the tree not the present day version of the tree.

  • Does anyone else get the feeling they're going to reveal MiB's name and it's not going to be exciting at all? "What's your real name, Smoke Guy?" ".....Larry." Boom!

  • jacob and the mib are brothers

  • wine too is very VERY symbolic in Christianity

  • damn i think jacob is a asshole.. he acts like one! + widmore is on his team, and he sure is a asshole. It would be fun in the end to see that the man in black is actually a nice guy :P

  • My favourite eps were probably the last one in series 1 and the first one of series 2. There was so much mystery surrounding the hatch at that time and then we had the extra cool ep when desmond first came into it. That was when i first realised how much i love lost!

  • hey i have a problem whit the sidetimeline i dont know if anyone noticed it .....but why is hugo still ritch i mean he never shode have heard the numbers ...because the hatch never got created bla bla bla ....am i wrong ? plz if u know anything plase say ...ou and nice video ...except the second izabela stuff ...its ovious that its her ghost only hugo can seea her ...doohh sow it cand be mib....

  • but it could be jacob

  • Flashes before your eyes is the best episode imo.

  • Lost & found ! ( ;

  • the way the man in black smashes the bottle is opposite of how jacob held it.

meaning the man in black wants to destroy the world, since he broke the bottom of the bottle, whils the cork is a symbol of the island.

  • hey sheanieb, here's something for you to consider :

we see jacob touching richard and making him immportal, but before that, when the man in black saves him, he also touches him in the same way.

  • Actualy I THINK (not sure) my favorite is when Charlie burned his "fix". I miss Charlie!!! T~T

  • Just had a random thought:

In the alternate timeline thing where they all land in LAX, I wonder if the note that James wrote to Sawyer as a kid would still be written. Because Jacob gave James the pen when it ran out of ink.

Thats not to say that the thing with his parents didn't happen... but the note might not have been written. Hmm.

  • sean what about the bit at the end MIB says to jacob "dont gloat jacob it doesnt become you" see who says it doesnt BECOME you

  • everybody is forgetting about the Ethan episodes the ones where people were wondering who or what he was. those were awesome.

  • Okay! How am I supposed to choose my favorite episode?? The question should be whats your least fave episode and even then, it would be hard! This has to be the BEST show on tv in a really long time! I'm not even into blogs, you tube, pod casts, discussion forums, but this show has made me do all of the above!!! I am a total bogger now!! It's crazy!! I'm going to miss it! and I'm going to miss your recaps Seanie B!!!!

  • what are you appalagizing for you gave us 3 clips explanied everything peace by peace I was waiting all weak for this and you dilliverd.

    thanks.

  • well if the island is the "gateway" to hell than when they move the island like ben and locke have in past episodes does that make sence? idk it doesnt really sound right. But great recap and i think that was the best episode yet by far.

  • I believe Jacob is also trying to help Black Smoke. Help him believe there is good in him and that he can change too.

  • O and if Jacob is suppose 2 be the good guy of the two why does he bring people to the island just to prove a point and almost expecting them to die? even if everyone brought is a potential contestant doesn't make fucking up people lives ok.

Seems a tad Cruel to me

  • @onemoretime11100 Everybody that has come to the island, at least on flight 815 had something they had to atone for. In that sense coming to the island for those people helped them, for them to realize all they were doing wrong in their lives back on the mainland

  • OO and the ep where charlie died was really good too in a sad/wtf happend kinda way =]

  • My favorite ep would definitely have to be either the episode with Desmond flashing back and fourth as he talks with Faraday to find penny his constant. Or the one when lock gets his leg trapped in the blast door in the hatch and sees the map/notes on the wall for like 5 seconds.

that time of the show was my favorite of the seris

fav characters are Faraday, Des and i really like the Darama initiate before their purpose was more flushed out, would have rather drawn my own conclusions fortha

  • Favorite episode of the series has been Tricia Tanaka Is Dead. Gotta love hurley. IM also really looking forward to the hurley centric episode this season!!!!

  • I'm glad more people are picking up on the fact that Smokie can read people's mind and use that to manifest himself. I think this episode confirmed (for me at least) that Smokie was Ben's mother and Kate's horse in past episodes (he sort of examined Kate when she was hiding in that big tree and he was surrounding her).

Favorite Episode: The Constant. The chemistry between Desmond and Penny is simply flawless, great story, amazing ending.

  • @LetsGoMets211 this is true. but who was smokes mother?

  • Only been watching the recaps this series, but absolutely excellent !

    5 stars all round !

  • My favorite episode of the whole show was Dr. Linus. I've always liked Ben, he seems so complex and seems to be a step ahead of everyone (until recently!!). I liked that episode because in the two realities, Ben ended up doing the same thing. The right thing. He did what he could to help Alex and he left the Man in Black. And what a powerful scene the latter was! A great confession, and then when Alanna said she would take him, WITHOUT LOOKING BACK, Ben followed her. Loved it!!!

  • i really liked "the constant" and " Greatest hits"..

  • The Pilot and Im sure the finale. I also loved Mr. Eckos Story to John Locke about building the temple.

  • The episode i like the most is

"the Other 48 Days" Love it

  • i don't know what my favorate ep is, i guess its just always the new eps that come up every week so it varies, my reason is because more questions get anwsered with new eps coming up, thank you for your vids sean :-)

  • we should go back and watch episodes 4, 8, 15, 16, 23, 42, and 108 again. I bet there's something in those episodes that could reveal something

  • @F990 go do it, and then come back and let us know that you found nothing, wasted your time and feel like an idiot.

  • you sound like you could use a hug

  • @F990 thats quite a good idea man,good thinking.

  • I don't mean to start anything, but it always blows my mind when someone has the nerve to ask for these to be done earlier, even if it's done so reasonably "politely". Please, Sean doesn't HAVE to do any of this. It's a lot of complicated editing involved, meanwhile he's also a (possibly full time) student, we'd be lucky if the recaps were all of 8 minutes long TOTAL and they went online an hour before a new episode every week, and we should act accordingly.

  • @HottieCamKevinRedux what are you his official spokesman? go fuck urself. and hurry plz.

  • You can cleraly see that Jacbob has some Chuck Norris skillz when he took down richard really easy. So why didn´t he fight back when Ben killed him??

  • because he thought Ben would make the right choice. this was answered in the Dr. Linus episode.

  • This was one of the best. Season 3 was great with the exception of Jack's Tattoo. Had no relevance at all.

  • in order, CONSTANT, I DO, DR LINUS, ORIENTATION, THE 23RD PSALM, all awsome

  • Through the Looking Glass is my favourite episode.

  • The constant ! ......followed by The incident, and ab aeterno

  • My favorite episode was the S3 finale. It was the best episode of any show that I ever watched. It had action, sadness, and the ultimate shocker ending. A close 2nd was Walkabout. For the first 3 episodes we wondered who that weird bald guy was. We got are answer and the first jaw dropper moment of Lost with finding out that Locke was in a wheelchair.

  • Through the Looking Glass is my fave

Ab Aeterno & The Incident came close though

  • fave ep: all the best cowboys have daddy issues...first time others strike...locke finds hatch...great jack flashback...deus ex machina extremley close 2nd

  • Ab Aeterno is my fave

    also Through the Looking Glass

  • My favorite was The Constant. Great character, great love story, just great all the way around.

  • best was def the constant

  • My favorite episode is the final episode of S2.

    "I WAS WRONG"

  • dude , great recap as usual

But Seanie , your recap is posted on Tuesday so we have one week doing nothing and in one day we have your recap and the new episode . I know making a recap like yours is really huge job ,BUT can you post it little bit earlier

  • @TubesObserver

he gets them up every Sunday night, two days before the next episode airs. It's not like he can just skip his school and other shit he has to do. Some people have lives outside of the internet

  • @TubesObserver believe me bud, if i could i would but I can't even start them until friday and many times (like this week) saturday. if the episodes aired wednesday or thursday like they used to, the vids would still be up on sundays, but it would mean less downtime.

  • @TheSeanieB yeh, asweome recap, although, tbh im not looking forward to next weeks episode, because i doubt the story will follow this weeks, and this weeks was epic!

do u think christian will have his own episode? (hopefully he does, he needs highly explained)

  • "Through the Looking Glass"; great episode, great season finale, the pinnacle of what came before and what followed.

  • My fave episode ever (or at least so far) was definitely this one: Ab Aeternum!

  • Damn man, you have great recaps that have become a must to watch inbetween episodes!! Thanks a ton Sean! =D

  • i think jacob and the MIB are the same person.

  • @YUNGBUDDA216 i think so to. why else would jacob not be able to intervene. i think the MIB and jacob are keeping the balance between good and evil. you gotta have evil in order to have good and vice versa right! ; )

  • Through the Looking Glass. The best piece of television I've ever seen.

  • 10:15... desond and sayid when they were on the freighter.. with the words " showers who need 'em? "

  • I'll always think of "Pilot" as my favorite. All the episodes are good, all of them have their own questions and answers, but "Pilot" is the episode that started it all.

  • Through the looking glass pt. 2

  • Look, jacob and the man in black were human, so they arent a form of god or something. We can speculate watever but the fact remains we wont find out wat really happened until the second to last episode which is a full flashback to show the history between the two. They said the flashback goes back to 20 AD so their might be a connection to Jesus here. Anyways, watever happens will just be building up the last two episodes which look to be the most exciting episodes of this show ever.

  • hey dick head, i didnt say any spoilers. all i said is speculation and stuff the writers have posted online for the public to know.

  • This episode, actually was my favorite

  • @sugarsweet12345

I would have to say the same, although there are many past eps that were also good, one of them being "Special" From Season 1 (BRING BACK WAAAAALLLT!!!), It finally gave us and answer to Richard's mysterious past.

  • I know that picture, but I don't know how to find the exact one.

  • I'm a huge Locke fan but for the series up until Ab Aeterno. It has to be the best episode for real LOST fans so much revealed and well done by the big three \Alpert, Jacob, and MIB. I'm sure Across the Sea 6x15 will be even more eipc in revelations.

  • the gus photo hunt winners HAVE to be using some kind of program lol

  • @ZumaZoom07 Absolutely I found it very strange. I don't even have a shot at it. I think when they do use programs it is cheating...

  • This episode was probably my favorite. It gave a lot of answers and confirmed many things. The featured characters were all people who had previously been very mysterious and it was nice to see some back story about them, especially Richard.

  • I find it so hard to chose a favourite but for old time's sake - 'Do No Harm' is a stunning episode. Jack's struggle, commitment issues, Boone's suffering and eventual death, Aaron's birth, circle of life and death, the music, the emotion and great writing, the beautiful acting and directing - everything a great lost episode is in a nutshell.

  • The Constant. It was simply made of awesome!

  • "Numbers" cause hurley is the bomb

  • but my favorite individual scene was the first scene with MIB and jacob at the beginning of the incident

  • well i think that man behind the curtain was the best episode. we learned more about the mysterious leader of the others and that there was this person jacob that was actually running the whole thing. i know that i probably watched that one the most.

  • For me my favourite was 'Lockdown'. When that black light came on and the blast door map was revealed, i got shivers down my spine... lol

  • @calzagheisthebest Oooh, yes, I almost forgot that one. I liked it as well.

  • Maybe jacob is "jesus", i mean, how else do you get wine on a remote island, change it from water perhaps? ;)

  • Flashes before your eyes

    one of the best

  • Favourite episode Season 3 Episode 13 - The Man From Talahasse.

  • Jacob says or at least hints that they bring people to the island to determine if humanity is ultimately good or ultimately bad. Is it maybe possible that they're been given the role of determining this on the island, with the island being some sort of purgatory? Then with the mayan pyramid, and apparently there are other hints at there being something to do with the end of the world, maybe that can bring in the political aspect of how Widmoore's gotten involved.

  • My favourite episodes are Tricia Tanaka is dead , cos its just so nice and one of the very few HAPPY episodes.

I also really like Flasges before your eyes

Other than that i would probably say every single finale, mostly season fives finale as i couldnt BREATH at the end of it. and also season thee finale, just excellent

  • I like "The incident" both parts, great action and not a boring scene throughout the 1 hours and 20 minutes it runs.

  • Favorite episode: "The man behind the curtain" because this was a Ben flashback, a character we didnt know much about, and this episode was just- wow, we got to know so much about him, and the little boy who plays Ben did an amazing job. Also if Im not wrong, this was also the episode where we first found that Richard doesnt age.

  • s6 ep 9

  • One correction with the wine bottle analogy. He never actually says that MIB is the wine that could be released onto the world, although that is ONE of the theories, another idea is that MIB is trying to release the cork (or find an alternative AKA smashing the bottle) and that he is an outsider trying to release the evil onto the world

  • the analogy of him braking the bottle might be if he destroyed the island like the Lax episode.

if the island is destroyed he would be free.

  • my 2 favs are "The man from Tallahassee" and "the constant"

  • The episode where John gets nicked on his kidney, the whole episode is supergreat and the ending is beyond this world

  • My favourite of all episodes:

    the one Desmond contacts Penny

Why? it is a pretty crazy one with all this mind travelling and also very emotional, with one of the impossible lost-loves reaching an interesting twist. And of course, because Desmond is my favourite character...

    I also love Charlie's top 5

  • Walkabout. That was the episode that made me realize that this show was special.

  • 10:15 Showers. Who needs em?

  • i can't wait for the episode across the sea

  • thanks for the recap- was an awesome episode, one of my favorites

  • 'Through The Looking Glass'. Great acting, pure excitment, and pure shock of the Flash-Forward. The 'We Have To Go Back' scene has to be one of the best, beautiful and memorable of all time.

  • I am surprised he didn't mention Hurley wearing a red shirt

  • ohhh man that's a total bummer. good catch. but I think either Hurly or Jack might be the new Jacob.

  • I think Jacob is an angel... just seems to make sense to me.

  • the constant

i dont think that needs much explanation, it was just awesome lol it was moving as hell, and it introduced time travel to the show. incidentally, the constant also lead me to discover your recaps, and i distinctly remember the bit you had about "the maths" , that was awesome :-D haha

  • If Jacab is good, then why did he allow Richard, Ben to kill all the Dharma initiative people ?

  • sayid,desmond ..showers

  • Not to mention that it was the best episode IMO (The Constant).. but I also got married on Dec. 24th 2004.. the day Desmond called Penny.. which made it so emotional for me..!

    What's your favorite Sean?

  • The best episode is The man from Talahassee. Best Jack/Kate scene ever.

  • The Constant. It was the first time we see the use of time on the show in an entirely different way. And more Desmond!

  • When I watched this episode I felt Jacob and the man in black are engaging into a competition very similar to the one that Job experienced in the bible.

In that story God bet the Devil that Job's faith was too pure to be corrupted, and no matter the hardship that Job experienced he would remain faithful. It seems Jacob wants the same thing, and like God is willing to let the Devil do whatever he wants to win the competition while Jacob just watches and hopes.

  • you said that the actor who plays jacob also plays the devil in "supernatural" well the actor who plays the man in black plays one of the four horsemen of the apocalypse "WAR" i thought that was interesting

  • awesome videos ! 5 stars !
