@extremered24 I, personally, think it was designed to be like that. It is because you do not only get your true form back, but your signature move, Sunrise, which is Yami's ultimate weakness. Due to the fact that you are now at your peak, it just seems to make sence that you would completely destroy Yami, the ultimate evil quite easily.
@Evertide05 I did all three and I didn't save the game after I won, so I went through the fight a couple more times. Didn't matter if I had seen this scene previously before, I still bawled my eyes out every time I see it.

Actually, the ending of this game shows that doing good doesn't reward you instantly! You have to keep chasing your goal, believe in yourself and be patient. Amaterasu wanted to help people, but her help was not seen. Than at the end we see that it payed off... Beautiful game.

Thanks. When I beat the first four forms of Yami, my hand slipped on the controller and I skipped the cutscene. They should have at least made a bubble pop up that asks you if you're sure you want to skip the cutscene.
The next time you face Yami's final form, on 7:31 when he uses the orb to shoot out the beam, you can use powerslash on the orb. Remember that the orb with the manatee creature inside is Yami's weakness.
@Link0306 actually, Yami himself IS the machanical ball. He is supposed to represent the evils that come with technological advancement. The core would be considered his brain. Inside the ball is not a manatee, but rather a fetus shape to symbolize how everything born innocent can be easily corrupted. Everyone of Yami's forms represents a sin of mankind.

I just realized that all villains in scenes like this just go all "Nooooo way!!!" instead of actually doing something...I mean, Yami had like 7 minutes to kill ammy just before she recovered all her powers, but instead, he just satyed in there watching his eventual and obvious EPIC FAIL!!!

In this game, her power derives from the 13 brush techniques which include both that of fire and that of water. Basically, she has no specific power, she just controls most elements and abilities that would usually be specific to gods.

@v1vyp You have all your weapons except the final weapons (Solar Flare, Tundra Beads, & Thunder Edge). You lose some demon fang items (all the good items, sadly), and also you lose your bought skills from the dojos. Other than that, I'm pretty sure you keep everything else.

There's no shame to shed tears for a story like this. Not to mention a game with such artistic and adorable (I think the style of the game is very cute and has an undeniable charm) feel can invoke such emotion from us players. 'nuff said.

a beautiful cutscene, strung together perfectly with the MOST inspirational battle music and epic boss fight, in a game with a unique style of gameplay. this is one of the best games ever made, hands down

so after u defeat Yami, does all of your weapons get lost or are they still with you when you start from the beginning?
I know that all your brushstrokes will be gone, but i was wondering if you will still have the glaives and the beads once u restart the game.

@v1vyp You have all your weapons except the final weapons (Solar Flare, Tundra Beads, & Thunder Edge). You lose some demon fang items (all the good items, sadly), and also you lose your bought skills from the dojos. Other than that, I'm pretty sure you keep everything else.
