I have no problem with thinking Shawn is a psychopath, there's no shortage of them becoming evangelists. The only book that I personally know of that deals with that subject was written in Scandinavia. I don't know if it has been translated to English. It was written by an evangelist together with a psychiatrist, they felt it needed to be addressed in order to protect believers from abuse. Shawn scores high on their list of warning signs.

I reckon that many creationists have an as-yet unrecognised learning disability that prevents them from recognising the differing strengths of arguments, or when their own argument is destroyed. Of course VFX also shows signs of other problems such as sociopathy, but generally speaking creationists do seem to have some inability to weigh arguments in my experience. No, seriously. I've got some learning disabilities that I'd never heard of until I was diagnosed with them, so perhaps there are more learning disabilities waiting to be discovered. If the ability to spell can be impaired, and the ability to coordinate muscle movement, why not the ability to judge?

It'll be a way to showcase the power of the internet. Past con artists could stay under the radar and build up a dedicated following and financial supporter base out of the limelight, and then when they burst upon the scene they were already too established to be fought successfully. If we can nip this asshole's ambitions in the bud we will have done many potential dupes a big favour.

I hate Shaun because he runs from the truth of his actions. i watch every one of his vids and he did lie about what he had planned with the charity, he changed the game with his ministry, and shows no ability to say he was wrong , and that he may have misguided people on what he originally said he would do.

I have no problem with thinking Shawn is a psychopath, there's no shortage of them becoming evangelists. The only book that I personally know of that deals with that subject was written in Scandinavia. I don't know if it has been translated to English. It was written by an evangelist together with a psychiatrist, they felt it needed to be addressed in order to protect believers from abuse. Shawn scores high on their list of warning signs.

Being less subtle, and less of a genius, I'd have squashed him like a bug. Beyond the issues of vengeance, or morality, this action would have resulted in the most favorable out come for everyone concerned—INCLUDING SHAWN! He really needs a good whopping. There's a critical window beyond which he will become irredeemable. If that time has not passed a solid defeat may have some small effect. As it is now, he's as happy as a clam b/c "he won!" That's all the justification he needs to go on.
