I wish everyone comparing him to his brother and/or espcially his father, would do what they can to look at and think of him as his own musician, his own artist. He is not his father, he doesn't sound like his father, his music doesn't sound anything like that of his father's, so enough with the typical ignorant expectations. The only reason John comes to mind when I look at Sean is based on his appearence and that's it, nothing else. When I listen to Sean's music, nothing else comes to mind.

Well, how much of that is environment? Julian didn't grow up around Yoko, and Sean did. I think that is why Sean got more of the experimental thing - it's Yoko's influence.

I'm glad I took the time to listen to Sean's music because I absolutely love him now! His music is very eclectic .. like his song, "Into the Song," it very Jobim-esque. I think he's more of a John Lennon/ Beck mesh. I can't wait for more of his music! :)
