Almost unknown was just how solid the rythym section was. From the beginning the drums were always great. Even back in the way back machine days with Mike Piccolo (who was the 2nd drummer in Talas for a bit - did you know?). And bass was always one of the tops in bflo. Don't know if it was playing 5 nights a week or just great musicianship. Or all of the above.
