Automatic is only 'fiddly' because you're used to drifting and so wait WAY too long before starting your turns. This is especially true if you're using the Wii Wheel as well. You started to get the hang of it near the end of Delfino Square, but yeah, your turns need to be a lot wider on automatic.

sometimes manual is more of a challenge than auto. I'm good with the cheep charger, but i perfer the blue falcon

Well, no, I don't suck. I use request vehicles, so of course I'm not good with most of them, a lot of them are terrible vehicles. On my other licence I have 9500 VR.
