I found this because I just read of Jane' passing. She had an unbelieveable career and though I never knew her, she seemed like a wonderful person. RIP Jane. You will be missed.
I think I took that picture of her with Alice Cooper and Kane Roberts!! in 1987 also the picture with Hank, Steve and Ian the girl is trudy Ians wife?
Well deserved tribute to a Cleveland rock institution. I knew Jane when I wrote for Scene magazine in the 70's and 80's. She was never anything less than sweet, helpful and supportive. Rock On Jane. And a nice collage of photos Mary. Miss your WUJC show.
Happy Birthday Jane and Thank You for everything! We sat next to each other at a Dave Edmunds/Concrete Blonde show in the early 80's - Phantasy maybe? Anyway, It was a delightful conversation we had - we wondered why everyone didn't love Dave Edmunds!
It was my pleasure and honor to have worked alongside you in the 70's when I was with WMMS. I have nothing but tremendous respect and admiration for you not to mention how much fun it was hanging! My very best to you Girl!
this is my step- great great aunt jane. wild connection huh? i wish i could meet 10% of the people she did. i was hoping to get some beatles memorabilia but it is going to the rock and roll hall of fame =(. anyways, i have never met her, but all ive heard about her are great things. happy b'day! paul mccartney come to town to see her so i can meet you!
I guess sometimes I forget how old I am (51) I remember seeing her around town and reading her articles, she always had her hand in alot of things, the stories she could tell,I would have loved to have been a fly on the wall for quite a few of her interviews...she is truly one of our local treasures...Elaine
I interviewed groups for my high school newspaper right beside Jane as one of her PD Young Ohio Correspondents. Jane was an incomparable role model: kind, gracious, funny and smart. She encouraged me to follow my dreams and I did. I spent 30 unbelievably fun years in the music industry and never stopped writing either. Thanks, Jane, and happy birthday!
Nice, nice. I hope someone does something like this for me when I turn 90 next year :) Jane was/is one of a kind and it was a pleasure to have been a small part of the Cleveland media scene when she was with the PD. BTW - I do what I think is a KILLER Jane Scott imitation. I don't think I ever did it on the air but I wanted to! I think I was kind of scared of someone getting mad :)
Happy B'Day, Jane! You are truly a Cleveand legend!

The late Roger Martin would be correct.
